Duke Theft Auto is based upon the classic DMA/Rockstar game, "Grand Theft Auto" Run, Shoot, Kill, Car Jack your way through many cities on your way of becoming the number one criminal! Instead of being limited to a top down view as you were in the classic game you will now be able to run and drive through the cities in a first person perspective as well as a third person.

Comparison screen shot of GTA I and DTA in the same area.
The reason the buildings look taller in GTA I is because the engine stretches the textures to make them look taller.
Nice stuff there! You are doing well! You must be a expert to get the GTA 1 textures! How is this game holding up? Can't wait for the beta, I am saving space to download it :D
Anyone can get them if they have GTA I installed.
Lol ok, my friend told me in GTA 1 the game loaded every few steps and stuff. I wanted to get GTA 2 :P Reckon it is worth the download?
But still this game is gonna rock!
GTA 2 is really fun to play with ~3/4 people, I think the only downside of GTA 2 is that cars aren't as fast as in GTA 1.
Also GTA II was never 100% complete. There are missing movies and the games story line makes no sense as a whole.
I got a nostalgia burst just by looking at these pics :)
