You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. This forum will serve the same function here on the Dominions 4 forums as the Codex serves on the Dominons 3 forums, namely as a repository of useful guides to different aspects of the game, nation strategies or obscure lore. The posting on this forum is restricted and non-staff members cannot start new threads. They can reply to existing threads. This will keep the forum from becoming inundated with threads that do not belong here or with topics that do not meet sufficient standards of content quality. Any guides intended for this forum should be posted in the Halfway Inn. They will be moved here once reviewed. Things that will be added in the future:

I'm seeing nation-specific strategy guides in General Discussion, along with all the other posts. I don't know if you want to put them here, but it seems that threads of this nature should be in their own category. |

Yes, it is the intent to add them here. However, I need some input on what guides are good, because adding mediocre guides is not very useful. I just don't have time to read them all, so I could use a hand with those. |

Not a problem really. Such a thread would be easy enough to make and could also include stuff that need not be moved here directly. As long as someone makes such a list, no problem having it here. |

Moved. Thanks for the suggestion. If we gather enough stuff here ,eventually some kind of index thread may be necessary, but for the time being this place itself functions as the repository so suggestions for worthy threads are very welcome. |
