You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. Started to work on a minor mod, mostly for myself but I guess others could be interested so it will likely be released later(no rush, especially as we're still in beta!)

It's meant to add new pretenders, especially by taking current summons as inspirations.
The pretenders aren't meant to be super stong but they should be interesting and powerful enough to make staring awake tempting.

Here's what I've been planning:

Immortal Champion: Basedom 1 human warrior(well, could make it size 3) with exceptional fighting stats(but still not a titan)and Immortality. Starts with magical equipment too. Was thinking of giving it Invulnerability 5, if it's moddable. Thinking 75/100 starting cost. Perhaps should be an excellent/superior commander.

Troll High King: Basedom 2, As Troll King summon, spawns trolls(and very rarely war trolls)based on dominion, 50 starting cost
Sea Troll High King: Basedom 2, As Sea King summon, spawns sea trolls(and very rarely troll guards )based on dominion, 50 starting cost
(initially meant to give these two battle summons, in the form of 2 war trolls/troll guards, but then thought that'd be too much)
Forest Troll High Chief: Basedom 2, As summon, spawns forest trolls based on dominion, 50 staring cost

Mad Mage: Basedom 1, human mage chassis with S1D1B1, starting cost 0. It's meant to be better than a regular archmage, I was going to give it Insanity 10% to compensate but it doesn't seem currently possible with modding. Could also make it a better than default researcher
Worm That Walks: Basedom 1, similar to the summon, so a nature mage that is VERY hard to kill. Starting cost should be 150/175 (like the Vampire Queen)

Suggestions/thoughts are welcome.
Also, for now I'm recycling existing sprites, but I might try making alterations to existing ones or, if someone wants to volounteers graphics..it would be nice.

Hmmmm interesting...maybe the Mythology Mod for Dom3 will be converted to Dom4...:P

You may want to think to which hole they are supposed to cover, and who have access to them. They don't seem very useful now because they look redundant with already existing pretender.

When is this version 0.2 planned to be released?
(Or is it out already and I just cant find the correct thread?)

Sorry, but had to pause development a bit because of being busy.
But 0.2 should be out this weekend IF things go smoothly. It will feature the mentioned pathcost fix and a couple new pretenders.
