You are a God! You are master and ruler of a loyal nation. You have unimaginable powers at your disposal. You have claimed this world as yours. But there are others who stand in your way. You must defeat and destroy these pretenders. Only then can you ascend to godhood and become the new Pantokrator. When you start the game you decide what kind of god you are and how your DOMINION affects your lands and followers. It is an expression of your divine might and the faith of your followers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Your dominion also inspires your sacred warriors and gives them powers derived from your dominion. In order to win and become the one true god you have to defeat your enemies one of three different ways: conquer their lands, extinguish their dominion or claim the Thrones of Ascension. Release version and manual is available now. Manual can be downloaded from Illwinter's web page.

If your mod fits in more than one of the following categories, it's going into the miscellaneous category. I'm sorry, but categorizing mods that do more than one thing requires too much thinking, and I hate thinking.
Also, I'll only be including mods that have links to files. Nothing hypothetical.
If I've forgotten your mod, then please tell me in this thread (with a link to your mod, so I don't have to track it down).
So far, only mods from the Desura and Invisionfree forums are included.
If Edi or someone else with the power to edit other people's threads would take this over for me, I'd be so happy. So happy. Alternately, someone could copy+paste what I've done so far and improve on it themselves. This thread could then be forgotten in favor of the newer, ostensibly superior version. I totally wouldn't mind it if someone copied and pasted this. You don't even have to credit me or notify me. Just do it.
If you have any issues, please tell me in the thread. So if you feel a mod is in the wrong category, or if I made some sort of error, then go ahead and tell me and hopefully I'll fix it.
Also, there is a mod compatibility project on the Invisionfree forums that lists compatible mods. Link

Whoa. Thank you for doing this. Some nitpicks thought:

- Byzantinee Pythium is a stand-alone nation mod, it does not replace the vanilla Pythium.

- Demilich replacement mod is not only a sprite swap, it also changes the mechanics of the Demilich

Once you have time, it might be useful to have like a single line description of each of mod.

Dec 26 2013 Anchor

Yup. And once that happens, this becomes a sticky thread. :)

Dec 26 2013 Anchor

Wow, thanks, this is very useful. Can you add my 'More Pretenders' to the list? I've released 0.1, though the main thread is on other forums, I will do a direct download link + preview in the desura thread too.

It's at Indiedb.com (yes, final post is broken but fixing the formatting soon)

Dec 26 2013 Anchor

Okay, guys, descriptions have been added, revisions have been made, and David88, your mod has been added with a detailed description.
Maybe sometime soon I'll go check out any mods posted at the invisionfree forums, and maybe the Steam forums. Anybody know any other place where mods might be (I don't think there are any new ones at Shrapnel, are there?)?

Dec 26 2013 Anchor

brxbx, if you accept mod who aren't posted at Desura proper, I would like you to add that one : Z7.invisionfree.com

It's LA Marverni, as a Terror/revolution themed french mod nation.

Dec 26 2013 Anchor

Done. A couple of questions for everybody:
Should I reply every time I make a requested revision to the OP?

And how do I edit my signature? I want to add this thread to my signature, but when I go to edit my profile, I do not see the option present.

Thanks

The description for the Demilich mod is still inaccurate, but that is likely due to my OP being really shitty. I added the following sentence to it, which also could work as a one-line blurb.

"This mod replaces the Demilich pretender with a "Thronebound Lich" who is still immobile but has some innate gem income (+1 all elemental + death gems per month) to offset the gems you are losing due to your inability to search magical sites."

Dec 26 2013 Anchor

Ooh, so then you can't pick him up. Unless you're a giant... How big is this throne?

Also, the Tzeentch warhost is not just Tzeentchian daemons, it's... Well, Tzeentch's human worshippers with Tzeentch daemons! :P But, a grand effort either way!

Thanks for this resource! I can see myself using it quite often in the future. :) A minor thing, though: Ulm, Blood and Steel is a new nation that doesn't replace normal LA Ulm. The description of the nation was a bit confusing though, hopefully it's a bit cleaner now.

Dec 29 2013 Anchor

Sawaiiki is based specifically on Hawaii btw.

Could you please remove the Improved ME Ulm and Healing Gods from the list atleast for now?
I'm working on updating both mods, expanding to encompass EA to LA Ulm by adding more national spells and items.
As for the healing gods, I'm creating two versions of it, one where gods recuperate and another where they simply become hard to injure.

I'm going to fully test out both mods first then post a new thread for each so as to create less confusion.
Thank you for compiling the list of mods!

Alright, but you'd better post here again once the mods are finished. Otherwise I may end up looking you over.

- Peliwyr (127+18) (Wraparound)

Dec 31 2013 Anchor

Ok! Posted the expanded Healing Gods mod in a new thread called FF's Improved Pretenders.
Improved Ulm is still a work in progress and should be ready to be posted soon!

Dec 31 2013 Anchor

I really wish you'd make one thread per mod, but I'll put it up regardless.

Jan 1 2014 Anchor

The HighHoly mod adds H7 levels to all pretenders in the game. Its thread is here.

Thanks for this compilation! One thing that would be nice would be to separate nation mods by age. Some say the age, but others (I'm looking at you Aksum and Blood War) don't.

I'll consider it. First, I'll probably want to add the invisionfree mods.

I've created a separate section for Conquest of Elysium classes made into nations, since there stands to be a lot of them. I'm thinking of skipping descriptions since it's likely self-explanatory, although players unfamiliar with CoE might like descriptions. I'll see.

Jan 11 2014 Anchor

I guess you may as well add Yomi Rebalanced by Telos to the list. Description: a variety of tweaks and additions to make Yomi's power level comparable to other EA nations. Indiedb.com

Jan 13 2014 Anchor

I have added all mods from the Invisionfree forums, which I'm pretty sure means I rule the modding community for the next 1,000 years and the devs have to put up with my inane questions, suggestions, and requests for a while, too.
Seriously, those folks at Dom3Mods are some prolific-ass modders. It took me forever to get them all down.
I will check the Invisionfree forums irregularly, so I would strongly appreciate it if anybody there that wants their mod on this list either post in this thread or PM me (preferably, notify me by posting in this thread, because I don't know where my PMs are on this site and since I've exhausted all my mental energy creating this list, I don't want to learn).
If anybody over at the Invisionfree forums wished to, they may copy this list and post it over there. You have my blessing, don't need my permission, and don't need to provide attribution. If you'd like, you can even claim that you were a pixie I locked in my closet and forced to make this list, thereby framing me as a pixie-enslaving plagiarist and taking all the credit for yourself. I would not have a problem if you did that.

Jan 13 2014 Anchor

You should add a link to the Mod Compatibility Project that Sombre is in charge of. All those mods are compatible with each other.

This is an excellent bit of work, thank you brxbrx. This is doing something rather different from the MC, in that it lists /all/ known mods. MC is just about the /best/ mods being compatible. So the community certainly has need of both.

Jan 14 2014 Anchor

Now I just have to alphabetize them.
