Description

I've often found it perplexing about how much energy the flashlight consumes when in reality, most batteries would last a good half to a full day depending on the quality of the battery. On top of that also the distinct lack of flashlight appendage on JC.

This project will be making the flashlight a separate object to be used independently of a weapon and as a weapon attachment.

Augmented vision enhancement still comes into play, but involves technologies similar to how current night vision goggles work today. Mostly infrared bombardment of the FOV then use sensors that pick up the returning waves to build a picture viewable by the player.

From a game play mechanic standpoint. Flashlights use a ubiquitous form of battery that they liberally expend and require replacement of from time to time and the augment uses bio-electric energy. However the flashlight draws the attention of enemies where as the aug does not.
