Seems neat, really like how eerie the environmental BGs look, ought to be an interesting story behind all that... Also curious as to how the gameplay will differentiate itself from average platformer.
At least there seems to be a targeting system, and scythe-specific stuff like bursts of flight, reminds me a bit of bullet hell games.
Thank you! I've been really focused on content recently with all the bgs, scythes and enemies to where we haven't shown much of the integral gameplay and story elements well. Lots of it's still in development but they should become more clear in future updates.
The game looks so nice to play.
I enjoyed the opening sequence for Death Story, the muted colour palette and subtle gradients are very pretty with an engaging and playful atmosphere (especially the synchronisation with the theme song's percussion), I found the pace of movement in the slow motion sections and title screen animation compelling too.
This game looks interesting. I'll try to keep an eye on it :v
