for a long time i have been a huge fan of the DOW universe and been playing a lot of the Ultimate Apocalypse mod with i highly recommend. long story short, i ended up with fully re-skinning the Imperial gaurd for the Campaign and enabling the campaign again for the mod. and uploaded the files for you to use to save yourselves the hassle of going trough all that work yourselves. -Building Camo Pattern by Havok1 -Scout Walker fragmented patten by Diviator to the modders above, guys i tried to contact you. if you got any objections about your work being included let me know. Note: these are just the files necessary to reskin your troops in campaign, you still need the original Ultimate Apocalypse mod. instructions in the readme, have fun!.

Loving the mod, but I am having some weird bugs with stronghold battles. Invincible enemy units and some of the scripts seem like they are broken. Otherwise I am quite enjoying it.

i honestly never experienced invincible enemy units. i tested my modifications out on an clean install to make sure it did not screw anything up. SCAR errors are still an part of the UA mod. its why the UA modders disabled the campaign mod for now.

Altough, and the UA mod makers said themselves there are still a lot of problems with the Campaign mode for the Ultimate Apocalypse mod. its why they still disabled the Campaign mode.

I just re-enabled the campaign mode ;). im having the occasional SCAR error's myself trying to complete strongholds. but usually replaying a stronghold siege from an previous save fixes that.

its a real shame that with the stronhold missions. once you complete a mission its crashes to the desktop. so you can never fully finish the game. it will be great if this got fixed

im aware of the stronghold missions, they do not always result in an CTD tough. if you just "skip" fast enough trough them as soon the aftermath narration starts they rarely CTD. after that you can review the "aftermath narration" and commander upgrade afterwards without trouble.

like i replied to Icefire, the Campaign mode was disabled by the original UA modders because of its stronghold issues. the SCAR issues happen under certain circumstances and can be circumvented mostly. it does mean sometimes reloading an save prior to an Stronghold assault tough.

Im just the guy that retextured the IG for Campaign. i followed the Tutorial how to re-enable Campaign and figured an buggy campaign may be better than no campaign.

I know the creators of the UA mod do plan to get the campaign mode fully working again in the mod in the future. Error free.

I dont know when that will be tough. My knowledge of programming is too limited to fix this issue otherwise i would have corrected it.

I am not sure if this is still relevant, but it seems the newer patch for UA:THB seem to have less campaign crashes. The only Stronghold mission that crashes on completion for me are Necrons, and Eldar still have the invulnerable buildings at the start (with a strong enough Honor Guard troupe, you can simply relocate your initial base, albeit with limited resources).

if that is true, thats good news!. i suspect if it means less crashes it might mean the team is working behind the scenes ironing the error's out the campaign mode.

i know about the eldar stronghold assault, it never worked right. i use a trainer to grab temporary control of the Eldar to litterally "delete" their structures so i can continue the mission.

I really enjoyed being able to play the campaign with UA enabled, but the Necron stronghold always had a fatal scar error before the cut scene came up up, but just as I killed the last monolith, it has been a year and they still haven't added in a campaign, and this add on is really nice, but at the moment, i am pretty much stuck...

I had the same problem, I was able to get around it by staying defensive the whole time and killing the monoliths after they upgrade.

Just curious, in the event that UA does come with a fully compatible campaign, will this mod conflict with that patch?

by all likelyhood, yes they will propably interfere as the file is now if they release an full campaign mode.

but i keep a regular check up on UA and if they enable campaign ill modify the files here so it becomes a skin-only or something along those lines so it will not conflict with the mod itself in any way. as replacing textures only is harmless as it does not interact with any scripts or SCAR files within the game.
