After months of waiting, Desura have finally green-lighted Darkness Eternal: Jake's Tale to be released on their website and executable! This means easier, cleaner installation and accessibility, automatic updates (optional) and update alerts when needed, and an all around better experience! The game's official release date is April 25th, and will be featured on next weeks "Freedom Friday", a showcasing of the weeks best free games on Desura.
I'm very excited about this release, and it would be greatly appreciated if you downloaded and tried out the game when it is released, and leave a quick review or comment on your thoughts as it will help me in any future projects. Plus, it's free, so there isn't many reasons not to give it a try!

Are you actually been able to play this game without the RPG Maker?
At the start of the game it tells me that I'm missing RPGVXAce RTP.

how did you fix it btw? My friend got the same error :)
You just open the data "Game" in your game folder and there's actually directly a line which describes the problem exactly. Just erase this line.
