Gray Day Games Presents, Cupboard Closer

A Thrilling Arcade Style Mobile Game for Apple and IOS

Traverse City, MI., March 18, 2016 – Remember when your mom used to yell at you for slamming things? We at Gray Day say slam away! Gray Day Games is excited to announce its first game Cupboard Closer.

Cupboard Closer is an exciting retro arcade style mobile game in which players simply try to close cupboards and drawers, as many they can, until the game becomes too difficult, they slip up, and one is missed. Complete with exciting and rare power-ups, Cupboard Closer is quick and easy to play and can be understood by people of all ages. Train your reflexes and strive for higher and higher scores. Compete with your friends for high score dominance and beat the developers of the game weekly on social media for a chance to win cool prizes and swag.

“Since this was the first full scale game we have made and we are relatively new to the industry, it took us a long time to figure out a lot of the caveats that go along with creating a game,” said Austin Lee, Director of Business Development and a co-founder at Gray Day Games. “Cupboard Closer is the culmination of our hard work as a company and a group of friends and a testament to what can be accomplished if you’re willing to be flexible and learn on the fly.”

“ I really enjoy the game because it’s simple, short, and easy to play,” said Evan Barrett, a Cupboard Closer play tester and friend of the developers. “There is no long term time commitment, you can just pull out your phone and play a game or two whenever you want.” Evan had access to an early build of the game and has been playing it for a month since the game was adequately finished for testing.

The premise of the game is simple. You start with nothing. For each cupboard you swipe, you will receive points. The game will speed up over time until it becomes unbearably difficult and you allow a cupboard to reach the top of the screen. Look out for drawers, close them to receive power-ups to help you increase your score. But watch out for the red drawers which will increase the difficulty of the game and make your Cupboard Closer experience much more difficult. Cupboard Closer is available for IOS and Android.
