The time is up; you can't stay there reading your smses forever. It's time to head out and find the answers. Cry of Fear is a singleplayer modification of Half-Life 1 which brings you the horror you've always been afraid of. It's a total conversion of Half-Life 1, which means it uses NO Half-Life 1 content or other peoples' files. It's all made exclusively by the developers. It also uses new gaming styles that you will rarely find in Half-Life mods, such as advanced cutscenes and other stuff that will be revealed at a later date.

Let me guess- the lights will go off after you turn off the power (because you have to do so) and monsters will appear from the nothing. Great environment.

Looking great, but it looks too clean and friendly even if the lights are going to go out. It would enhance the mood if it was darker and more shadowy. But judging from the light fixtures and lack of textures I'm guessing its still WIP.

I have to 100% disagree with you. source mods (i don't know why) seem to suck compared to most hl1 mods. i've played very few great source mods, and a lot of hl1 mods i've worshipped.

Oh man I forgot that this isnt for the source engine. Then noticed that people kept talking about HL1 then I looked at the eninge it uses and just forund out its goldsrc.

It's a bit strange seeing tables and chairs in the middle of a hallway, in the way of getting to lockers behind them. But if that's what they have in Sweden, then I wouldn't know. It just strikes me a bit odd that the college would have that kind of setup.
Looks phenomenal though. I love the details you put in the maps and the various props such as the trash cans and being able to see other rooms filled with chairs rather than just a boring door with a skinned window. It really gives a sense of a person actually being in a college setting. Your mapping has really evolved, ruMpel.
