Claustrophobia: The Downward Struggle is an indie RPG roguelike, with a retro graphic style and a terrible sense of humour. The game takes place in a series of ever descending randomly generated dungeon floors, packed full of monsters to slaughter and loot to pillage. The game plays like a traditional roguelike, but with a clean UI, a slick, action orientated combat system, and a massive range of enemy types, skills, gear and room designs. With features like crafting, skill trees, characters development, and just-one-more-room style gameplay, Claustrophobia is a love letter to traditional RPG rougelikes. Create your ideal hero, build your own custom class, then set out on your quest for glory, slaughter, and anything shiny!

I posted a short, maybe uninformative comment on one of your posts some time ago. Let me expound on that.

The images, they might speak for me: Screenshot #1, Screenshot #2.

My point being that the tooltip somewhat obstructs the view of what's happening on-screen. The mouse needs to be positioned just right to reveal the entire scene. It feels a little clumsy, though I'm unsure what you could change that would improve it. Maybe you could add a modifier key for it? Allow us to hold a button to show the tooltip. Then again, since everything in the game uses it, that might be difficult to do without interrupting the flow of information.

Original comment:

I think my biggest problem right now is the positioning of the cursor's tooltip. Might be the transparency needs adjusting, or just an offset, I'm not sure. As it is now, its behavior is more than a little irritating.

Hello. I see what you mean, but I'm really not sure how I would go about changing this without a loss of information. Do you think it would be a benefit if the window was slightly transparent, and/or if the tooltip always siwtches sides so that it doesn't obscure the player? Or do you think when highlighting units, the tooltip should jump 1 cell to the right?
