Cargo Lander is the project name of this lunar lander style game, with asteroid themed levels, mostly. The game has two modes, and upon completion unlocks two more modes. Classic Lander, and Cargo Lander. In Classic Lander mode the goal is to land on all landing pads in the level to complete it, where the only major skill the player has to rely on is flight, navigation, and landing, while in Cargo Lander mode gameplay is more action oriented from start, the goal is to transport cargo from pad A to pad B, and to do that the player must survive, and solve mini-puzzles to reach the other end. And beware, space is filled with unknown dangers, and obstacles just waiting for an inexperienced pilot to drift their way.

Always liked lander games and this is best I've seen. Very difficult, but that keeps me coming back to try again. There is improvement with practice. Bought it in recent sale which makes good value.
Thank you! That's what we're aiming for. :)
Is there a way to influence the amount of fuel (or an unlimited fuel mode, in the extreme)?
No, no unlimited fuel mode.
In Classic mode fuel is much more important and scarce, while in Cargo mode fuel is of less importance and least worry. There's fuel stations, and fuel capsules in the game that refuel your ship. There's also fuel efficiency capsules that reduce the fuel burn speed, and in some levels there's Helper bots that follow you and refuel you. :)
Thanks - but why not let the player decide how to play the game? Some people prefer a slower playing style, some are simply not as skilled at saving fuel as others. Would it be such a huge effort to add an option (could be in an editable config file, to keep things simple) to multiply the default amount of fuel by a factor, which could range from 0.1 to 10, say?
Yes I understand, however, the fuel is kind of a core mechanic of the game and a lot of levels are designed to match the given fuel amount. The fuel amount is part of the puzzles in a level, and its why you'll need to use it wisely and think strategically. That is not the case in all levels though.
Some levels need thinking, and some need fast reflexes. It's not really a casual game, and its suppose to be harder than the majority of today's games. And the modes you unlock when you complete the game are even more challenging, and going to the extremes of strategic and action play style.
But don't worry about fuel, you still have unlimited time per level and you can take your time solving it. There used to be even less fuel per level but so the Classic mode was way harder but my friend made me increase it a bit.
Alas - but it's your game.
A final attempt though :-): My point is that people are different, brains, fingers, reaction times, ..., caused by age, education, physical and mental conditions, training, etc. I'm sure there are people who despair of the difficulty of the game while others find it too easy even as it is today. Why not let them tune the game to suit their personal taste (and limitations) and possibilities? I deliberately suggested to let people give themselves a range of fuel between 1/10 and 10 times the current quantity (or between 50% and 200%, would be more realistic).
That said, you made a really nice game!
Alright, although game breaking, we'll consider adding an optional setting for unlimited fuel in one of the future updates. :)
Nice, thanks. I suggest to do it for the classic mode only. And I'd much rather have the option to give me just some more fuel, not unlimited (which is fine for practising, but breaks the game indeed). But unlimited is probably easier to implement.
And make sure that using unlimited means zero score :-)!
None sense! What kind of developer would I be if i picked the easy way. :)
We'll see about the fuel thing. Right now we're waiting on the demo to be published before we make any updates. It should have been already a few days ago, I don't know whats the delay. :P
Have fun! :-)
