A reupload of the original Ultra Effects on Nexus by me, the author (JoJo2498).
Ultra Effects for Call of Duty is a quality of life enhancement that contains new impact effects, sounds, and blood.
Installation
Normal CoD
1. To install the mod, just extract the files you want in the "main" folder of Call of Duty.
2. Open "config.cfg", and search for "seta com_hunkmegs". You will see a value in quotation marks next to this. Change that value to "512". DO NOT MAKE IT OVER 512 OR THE GAME WILL NOT WORK.
3. For an enhanced aftermath, find "ai_corpsecount" in "config", and change the value in the quotation marks to "64". Unsure if higher values will work, but it's good to try.
For United Offensive
1. To install the mod, just extract the files you want in the "UO" folder of Call of Duty.
2. Open "uoconfig.cfg", and search for "seta com_hunkmegs". You will see a value in quotation marks next to this. Change that value to "512". DO NOT MAKE IT OVER 512 OR THE GAME WILL NOT WORK.
3. For an enhanced aftermath, find "ai_corpsecount" in "config", and change the value in the quotation marks to "64". Unsure if higher values will work, but it's good to try.
NOTES:
1. For anything to work, "MovieFX" and "SoundFX" require their "EX" files to be present alongside with them.
2. If you downloaded the mod/new version, your saved game will not work. You will need to start the level over from the console. Go to "load game", and to the left of your latest save will be the map name. Type in the console "devmap [mapname]" to start the level over. It should be on the same skill as you started. Your weapons from a previous level will not be saved.
File Descriptions
Blood: New blood FX including blood decals, pools, mists, etc. Does not require any "EX" files to function.
MovieFX: New effects. The core of the mod. Requires its "EX" file to function.
Movie/JoJoSound: Exaggerated sounds for weapons, etc. Requires its "EX" file to function.
Realistic/JoJoSound: Realistic sounds for weapons, etc. Requires its "EX" file to function.
Fov_Fix: Fixes ADS FOV + a few changes to weapons, like a mid-reload for the Garand, pistol muzzle flash fix, and a correct empty reload for the Thompson (The bolt on the M1A1 Thompson locks back automatically on the last round, so the user doesn't need to lock it back after an empty reload).

Jojo, do the "bodyfalls" sound effects work for you when enemies hit the ground? For some reason they don't for me and it seems like it has something to do with the death.gsc file because if I remove that they work.
