Broken soul is a pixeled adventure horror game, inspired by Silent Hill and The Count Lucanor.

Alex, a typical man, starts noticing some weird things happening to him. Everything seems familiar but alien. Minutes, hours, days are erased from his memories. Why has it stated? What is hidden in his lost memories?

Broken soul is a personal hell of a lost person, which makes Alex meet his own demons. Should he lose to his fears or he must struggle and fight off the things his own mind hides?

  • Find Alex’s lost memories and retain the chain of events, which drove Alex mad.
  • Solve puzzles created by the Nightmare. It will not let you go for free.
  • Escape and hide from the embodiments of fear. They are not happy to see you, not you them, indeed. Any mistake may become a fatal one.
  • Make good use of the things you find. Photos can help to restore your memories, but the amount of the photos you can take is fairly limited.
  • Be cautious and silent. Panic and carelessness can only lead to the traps prepared by the Nightmare.

Alex was half-asleep on his way up in the elevator of his block of flats, when the nightmare woke him up. It became even worse, when the light on the floor he needed went off. It’s just a coincidence, he needed to enter his flat and properly relax.

But there is something wrong with the flat as well. There is a mess, there is a ready made lunch “From mom to Lisa”. Who is this Lisa? Alex heard a strange growling from inside the wardrobel, but there mustn’t anybody else in the flat? Well. But if there is someone else? The nightmare from the elevator has finished long ago. The real nightmare is just about tot start… As well as the struggle for the memories, the mind and even the life.

Festival "Tall Me a Story"

Good day and good mood, everyone.
I want to share some good news. My game is participating in the Tall Me a Story festival. I originally planned to have a demo version of my game by this point, but I didn't make it in time. But I'm not discouraged and continue to work on the game further.

In general, October should be my hot month, since I originally entered three Steam festivals. But because of the busyness of my main job and burnout in the creative plan, I gave up one of them. I withdrew from the demo versions festival. The rules of this festival are that one game can participate only once. I didn't want to waste that chance on an unfinished demo, so I withdrew. I think I have a demo, but it's far from perfect.

I really hope that at least by the end of this year I will still be able to make a demo.
