"The D-27 is used to transport troops and equipment, such as vehicles, from a larger orbiting ship to the surface of a planet.
Armed with four quad cannons, it is more than capable of defending itself and can be used to support troops once they are on the ground. As well as having engines at the rear, it also has two VTOL capable engines which allows it to land or hover in tight spaces." - Niall
