Before the Dawn is the standalone project based off of the Before the Dawn mod for Call of Duty 4. The point of the game is simple, survive the zombie horde. We hope to make a zombie survival game that will actually make you think. We hope to do this by making you and your team have to develop a strategy or fail. We are not sure if the game will take place during the modern time, a few years in the future, or in the past. We will likely have a few levels in the past, if not the entire game. Do not think that I am stealing the mod or the name. I have permission from the original creators of the mod to make this game. In fact, I am trying to get the original BTD Dev team together to help on this game.

Report RSS We Are Not Dead...Just Tired

Hey guys, we are not dead. We have just taken a break. We have been very busy with many things including Hacker22 starting university, me (alecn1519) trying to finish up highschool and get a job, as well as gain a few business partners.

Sorry for the long time since the last update. I have been very busy with school, my dad being deployed, and my family moving across the country.
Things haven't been going as planned, but Hacker22 has informed me that he has been learning programming in university and next week, he will begin taking classes on Maya so we might have some new models soon.
We will not be updating quite as much as you might hope, but we will try to get a teaser out sometime before the year's end.
Big news, Monument Mods has become a thing of the past. I have decided to drop that I would drop that and start up a new studio and this time, we are called Before The Dawn Studios. We have decided that will be our name mainly because BTD Alpha X was such a large part of our history.
We will have an updated features list soon hopefully.

Good to hear stuff is still going :D

I can wait for long since i know development takes a lot time and real life issues (and stuff) will have huge impact.

Theres lotsa other games even with more problems.

Hey btw any news about the new pc?

I have a new PC and will hopefully have another one summer next year. I have begun to develop a very primitive version of the game and am planning on an Alpha release sometime next August. I know that is a long way away, but I am busy and so is Hacker22.
