Indie Royale presents the out-of-this-world Lunar Bundle. Featuring the recently released Pid & Cargo Commander, Telltale's Back to the Future: The Game and last month's newly released Dungeon Hearts. There are 3, so far unannounced, bonus games. This week's tantalising bundle from Indie Royale includes over $60 worth of games.

Pid
Available for PC and Mac. Steam & Desura.
The recently released Pid is a beautiful and creative adventure. It's about a young boy named Kurt who finds himself stranded on a peculiar planet, from where he must find his way home. Finding help from unlikely allies and the curious tools in his backpack, Kurt must use gravity-defying beams to conquer every platform and solve every puzzle on this strange journey. Featuring over 12 hours of action-adventure gameplay and fully-realized co-op, players are poised to experience a beautiful world set to an evocative soundtrack. With twenty-two different locations, dozens of foes and hundreds of secrets, Pid is like your world... only different. Gamespot said "Pid presents a wonderland of sights and sounds". Check it out in The Lunar Bundle.

Cargo Commander
Available for PC and Mac. Steam only. 1 Bonus Track.
Alone in space, light years away from your family, armed with only your FistcannonTM, Platform Drill and the meanest cup of coffee in the sector; you are Cargo Corps' latest recruit, a Cargo Commander. Your responsibilities are simple: travel through the vast reaches of wormhole-filled space salvaging priceless cargo from alien infested... in keeping with our Lunar theme, this is a great space platformer.

Back to the Future: The Game
Available for PC and Mac. Steam, Desura & DRM-Free. Mac is Steam only.
The Future is Back and this time it's playable. Marty McFly and Doc Brown return in a new Back to the Future adventure set six months after the events of the third film. In this exciting new cinematic adventure game - from the award-winning Telltale Games, creator of The Walking Dead - the DeLorean Time Machine mysteriously returns to Hill Valley, without a driver in the seat. Marty must go back in time and employ the help of a resistant teenage Emmett Brown in this unique chapter in the film series.

Dungeon Hearts
Available for PC, Mac and Linux. Steam only.
Bright, vibrant but with a fiendish soul, Dungeon Hearts is a Puzzle/RPG hybrid that fuses the strategy and pattern matching of puzzle games with the breakneck pace of action games. Described by Destructoid as "clever, inspired and enjoyable", you must align magical runes to attack, defend, and conjure magic in frenetic battles against a bestiary of fantastical creatures. A unique and exciting fresh take on the match-3 genre from Cube Roots / Devolver Digital.

The Sea Will Claim Everything
Available for Windows. Desura & DRM-Free.
The Sea Will Claim Everything is a whimsical, sharp, somewhat inscrutable adventure game on Steam Greenlight now. Creator Jonas Kyratzes describes the game as "literary, political, personal, silly, serious, and somewhat obsessed with details." But it also enjoys a childlike quality as you delve through a portal to the Fortunate Isles, where the sinister Lord Urizen is using the debt crisis to impose his will on the people. Unusual, quirky but also utterly unforgettable.

International Snooker
Available for Windows & Mac and Linux. Desura & DRM-Free.
The latest entry to Big Head Games' well-loved snooker series, International Snooker offers players the chance to shine on the green cloth in what many consider to be the most realistic yet approachable take on the sport. Featuring a Career Mode in which you play a full year's calendar of events earning world-ranking points in a bid to become world number one, International Snooker boasts cross-platform compatibility between PC, Mac, iOS and Android players not to mention 8ball and 9ball pool modes.

Micron
Available for PC, Mac and Linux. Desura & DRM-Free.
Micron is a game with a unique blend of puzzle and rhythm gameplay. Place pieces on the board to deflect bullets of energy that fire to the beat. Guide the bullets to the exit through 51 challenging levels -- and 12 bonus levels -- featuring a variety of distinctive soundscapes. Your solutions create the music.

Hello, IndieRoyale\Desura...
About this bundle i have to say two things.
1) Too much of bundles, too often. You just finished previous one, give us little rest, will you?
2) Too much of steam-only games!!
3)Lot of mystery games? New tradition?
4) Looks like selling share to Tenshi DO forced you to bring better games in bundle?
Oh, i said two things...

Yeah the steam-thing is really a problem. I think there are enough reasons to not like steam, so it would be a pleasure if you could add more desura games. I always thought steam to be ******, and sooner or later everyone i know gave it up and switched to desura. Most pirated their bought steam games. In my honest opinion: Desura is what steam lacks and much more. I don't want to blame anyone using steam. I just want to support the Desura-Point-Of-View. I'll get back to the bundle-thing, when more desura games are in. Peace and out :3

I am Actually quite the opposite POV. I enjoy the Avalibility of steam game codes. I wish steam/non-steam was an option when purchasing, but that would make to much sence.

I feel steam is better then Desura, But i love how Desuria works.

More or less to the point. I agree Steam-Only is a bad idea.

Well, if there was option "Discard steam keys (or steam-only games) from purchase" with corresponding decrease in price i would be happy. But there is no such option.
I dont really protest about having steam keys for games in bundle, but i really dont want to pay for steam-only titles.
After all, its Desura based bundle...

Why do so many people hate Steam? I've been using it for at least 4-5 years now and have always found it easy to use and full of useful features (apart from the offline bug but that it fixed now). Just last night I got SimCity 4 for £2.50!
I like desura too so I don't really mind what platform I add my games to.

I was really excited about this lot until I realized 2 of the games require Steam. I refuse to use Steam, so it wouldn't really be worth it to me to buy this bundle as I can't play half the games:( Any chance of offering Cargo Commander and Dungeon Hearts as Windows downloads?

But Dungeon Hearts IS available on Desura. So why only a Steam key?

No, you gettin it wrong - check yourself, on Desura page its said "This game requires Steam to run."
Desura just selling Steam keys for that games. Or, maybe, just to get in bundle game need to be released on Desura, at least in Steam-key-only way.

Yea, you're right, I've seen it now. But the annoying thing is that the disclaimer is only shown if you choose Windows as your preferred platform, or if you don't choose any platform at all. If, on the other hand, you choose Mac or Linux (or if you're using the Mac or Linux client) you don't get any message about the game being Steam-only. :(

I think 1st post summarizes it all, however, I want to add only one thing. We DO notice you guys sometimes bring DRM free versions post-bundle (like with Hector: Badge of Carnage), that is greatly appreciated and, please, keep up with that.

Wow, people complaining about not being able to play half the games because they don't like Steam make me feel a bit foolish.

Not owning a copy of Windows newer than 98SE or any version of MacOS, I can only play one of the announced games (and one more TBA, so it may or may not be worth playing). I still purchased, despite the fact that I could get the one game I know I can play cheaper by purchasing it separately. I like what they're doing, in general, so I have a policy of getting a bundle when they come out provided there is at least one Linux game included.

They're a nice bunch. They'd be giving us access on Desura if the developers let them.

Can't you switch to Linux Mint? I'm curious as to why you're sticking with an old version of Windows instead of moving on :)

You appear to have misunderstood, so I probably shouldn't have wandered so far in my description. Windows 98SE is the newest version of Windows I own a copy of it, but I don't actually use it. It's not installed on anything right now. Short of a VM, I don't think I *could* run it on any machine I have. The drivers aren't generally available.

That's why I said I could only play one of the announced games. I'm a Debian user, personally. Dungeon Hearts runs under Linux, and is the only game in the bundle I can play (though they did say another Linux game was coming).

That's also the reason I bought the bundle. Indie Royale is strongly associated with Desura. Desura came to my platform long before Valve realized they should, and I still feel I owe them for that. Therefore, I buy games in Desura where I can and also buy any Indie Royale that has at least one Linux game (or try to, anyway -- I know of one I missed because I put it off too long).

Its all cool, but some peoples dont like Steam, why should they be forced to use it? Nobody forcing you to use Desura ever when you pay for IndieRoyale, but its not same in opposite with Steam.

If peoples want to have Steam keys, they can have it from LOT of Steam-only bundles, like BundleStars or IndieGala.

I don't care if it is Steam only as long as it is a good game, although I'd love it more if DRM free versions could be provided too whenever possible. And can someone please teach Toyotame some proper English and grammar already? You make good points but you also give me a headache every time I try to read your posts here and at IGS.

Trying new things with all the mystery games? That's cool, but personally I'd much rather know what I'm buying upfront. I know some might like late reveals but not me. Well, I bought it anyway. Nice selection so far - I already had Pid on GOG but have been eyeing Cargo Commander, and Telltale tends to do a good job. Looking forward to seeing what the final games are.

As a Linux user, this is sort of a dilemma.
Only one game announced is for Linux, and the price-tag on the bundle is more expensive than just buying the game xD

Anybody willing to go halfsies on the bundle?

NONE OF THESE HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE MOON.
YOU COULD HAVE AT LEAST GAVE US KERBAL SPACE PROGRAM IN THE HIDDDEN THREE, BUT NO.
INTERNATIONAL MOTHERF*CKING SNOOKER.
BECAUSE THAT HAS A LOT TO DO WITH THE MOON, RIGHT?
WHY IS IT EVEN CALLED THE LUNAR BUNDLE?

How "The Sea Will Claim Everything", and especially "International Snooker" are related to Moon, Space, "out-of-this-world"? It seems to me that You just threw three non-Steam poor titles in because You promised 3 more items. I would rather get soundtrack for PID instead of those games...
I guess You've sold enough "bundles" so You chose "weak unwanted" games to add to bundle, maybe next time we should keep our purchase till You reveal "hidden" titles; thus making You add something of value.
For this I am giving You a Yellow card, next one is Red and You are out!
And remember; You are here for us, not the other way around, merchant knows that without a customer he is a beggar !

PS: I know some people here don't like Steam, but for me and my friends there is no deal without Steam.

You wrong in one thing - "The Sea Will Claim Everything" is actually VERY good game. in its somehow related to that this bundle is about "games out of the this world". Two other is, yeah, weak.
And, about "no deal without Steam" - you have IndieGala and Bundlestars and GamersGate rolled out a lot of Steamgame sales recently. I think you had pretty much enough.
As for PID soundtrack, in conversation with dev of PID on Indiegamestand.com it was stated that PID developers have no right to distribute PID out outside of game (legal issues). So you will not see it ever.

Yeah, I agree about "The Sea Will Claim Everything". It was unfair overreaction on my part considering that title. It would be stellar if it was Steam-friendly.
Rest, I still hold onto...
I still cannot believe they put that horrid "International Snooker" into this bundle; I guess that is the only way that someone aside from it's developers buy it...

Related to Steam/Desura/what-not; I know what You are saying and You are right, but I was expressing my stand and that was and still is that any kind of deal is not attractive for me (and most of my friends) without a Steam. Though, sometimes I believe it was a ****-poor decision on my part to let one game service monopolise my entertainment. I am so often tempted with GoG. ^^;

It's a good thing I bought this bundle on the merits of the first 3 games (I'm not counting Dungeon Hearts), because I'm woefully uninterested in the last three games. Also, not to start this argument again (and everyone is entitles to their own opinion on this matter), but I want all my games on steam.

You know what, I'm not even sure if I would have bothered buying this bundle if these last three games would have been revealed already. I know how silly that sounds because I'm happy with Cargo Commander, BTTF and Pid. Nevertheless, adding the last three games has made it a far less appealing bundle somehow.

Well, despite "International Snooker" and the 2 Steam-only games, I went ahead and bought this bundle. The other 4 games seem pretty decent, in particular Pid and The Sea Will Claim Everything. I really hope I won't see Steam-only games in future bundles, though.
