TacSoc is a go!
The Tactical Society is dedicated to giving tactical shooter players a way to play Co-op missions with other tactical players. We also hope to provide a place where custom missions, both single and multiplayer, can be uploaded and shared.
So please do feel free to join the group, and help us start a community of good people. You do not have to be good at Arma or any other of the tactical games (which will be added in due course from recommendations or our own ideas) that TacSoc plays, the only requirement is that you are willing to play with the team and work tactically. You will learn by doing.
Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead (A2 stand alone expansion) will be our main games, It's best therefore that you have Combined Operations, which includes both, but not necessary as we will cater for those with only one of the two games. If you want to get involved with the Arma 2 community for free, you can download Arma 2 free, which is the demo for Arma 2. Arma 2 free is nearly the same as the full Arma 2, but without the single-player scenarios and the Campaign (and lower texture quality), it still has multiplayer and the editor, so you can still join in with this community.

Post Script.
When our community grows to a sufficient scale, we will start organizing Co-op games, until then (which, with a bit of luck and your support, shouldn't be too far off.) please feel free to organize your own games with other players in the community. Uploads of any missions will be played by myself and given a rating, the best will be played during our games and featured, we won't remove any uploads, this is a community ran society, but we will sort them into a few categories based on quality.
