I still playing at 2022
Well the game is not very noob friendly and quite boring, if you aren't a hardcore military sim enthusiast. You spend a lot of time just walking and then get sniped by some veteran players who know some good places on the map to hide and shoot, then you repeat the process again.
This game is great! It is a must have for anyone looking for a fun, challenging, military simulation game.
Pros:
-Long, challenging campaign with a pretty good story
-Great graphics, even on low end systems
-Fun gameplay mechanics (it's tactical and realistic, what else do you need?)
-the EDITOR! You can create anything your little heart desires (including massive battles with hundreds of soldiers/tanks/jets/etc.)
-Multiplayer/co-op
-DayZ
Cons: (mostly technical)
-A.I. can be pretty bad at times
-Can get laggy even with a good CPU
-Voice acting can be a bit overwhelming
-"Invisible walls"; well, not really invisible. The game is completely open, but at times, you are confined (such as having to stick with a convoy, but the convoy moves so slow).

Best realistic war game ever !
Brilliant game, lots of mods and awesome community. A must have for all army and shooter lovers and also a great simulator for tanks and planes.
