Ares:Dogfighter is a 3D space combat simulation. You control a spaceship and must battle against a range of opponents. The AI is intelligent and you'll need to use modern dogfighting techniques to beat them. I've spent quite a bit of time getting the AI right. I want to get a great dogfighting feeling right and then proceed onto more features, like missions, random events and an intergalactic battle that the player can take part in.

This is the first beta gameplay download of Ares: Dogfighter, mainly as a proof of concept. It's a simple setup where you can choose to dogfight against up to 3 enemy ships of ranging difficulty. Your ship is armed with pulse lasers and missiles. I think you'll find the AI quite realistic and challenging!
