Apocalyptic is a small top down survival game built in Scirra Construct set after a nuclear catastrophe, and most of the worlds population is wiped out. The player must build a shelter inside a building, and then collect resources to survive against zombie attacks and rival NPCs.

So will you start with a basic ax and go up from there or will you have us completely start out punching the trees make an ax with that and go on like you said earlier

Well, in the current version you do start with an axe. We're still not entirely sure which way to go with the "crafting" aspect, or even if to have one. We want something nothing like Minecraft, because already Apocalyptic bears simularities to it. We were thinking maybe something like having to trade with other NPCs to get other equipment or items.

There are now trees. Many of them. Not finished, but trees. They lack the actual leaves... so far. Anyway, chopping down trees with your axe will reward you with *gasp* wood, used for building walls and anything else we can think of.
