To play the game you got to download it from our website as the file is too large for IndieDB. You also need an account in our system to play it as we haven't integrated Desura yet.
"Adventures of Setren" is a game set in medieval fantasy. What makes it different is that it doesn't focus on graphics because games don't need to have the best graphics to be fun.
The main story currently is to find the famous, magical gold ingot, giving its owner eternal youth. Many have tried to gain it, but none ever returned. Are you the one returning?
Features:
-A level system: To progress through the story line there is a level system which guides you through the areas, as having a too low level could potentially get very dangerous.
-A map system: Travel over the whole world of Setren in 2D style.
-An item system: Use different items to lead your character to victory.
-A class system: Use different classes to find the gold ingot of youth.

Sorry for not having written anything in quite a long time. Life has been keeping me busy.
To start this off, I am now opening the website for usage. You can also download the game in its current form from the download section.
As a way to show your in game statistics to your friend, you will need to register on the website, as your statistics are saved online in the database. To do so please register at the top right corner of the website, as the game account and the forum account are not connected.

Now, let's get to the most important bit of the news. I am releasing the current state of the game to the public so you can start playing it and if you want give feedback and ideas for it. This game supports modding for the graphics, so you can change nearly everything about how Adventures of Setren looks like.
I hope you enjoy the game as much as I did creating it up to this point.
Please be aware this game is still in the Alpha stage and therefore things might be missing.

Good luck but the graphics are terrible, I know they don't have to be 'the best' but they should I cringe at this ugly art and it actually turns me off from wanting to play the game.
the game allows graphics to be modded, so you can turn the game into anything in terms of graphics.
I really hope you guys can get somewhere with this game. It looks fairly interesting but I am a little concerned about the art. Not to be offensive to your art team, but all of your art looks like something that has been made in MSPaint in 5 minutes. If you can improve that, your game will get a more professional look, and more people will get interested in it.
