Aces over Europe - Edition 2022 file

INSTALLATION -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. If you have the old Aces over Europe installation, please uninstall it. It is not possible to overwrite the game, you will have a C.t.D.
2. Install Aces Over Europe Edition 2022 by following the on-screen instructions. The file is self-installing and does not use the Windows registry file. Do you want to uninstall Aces over Europe? It's simple, from the control panel or from the icons that have been specially created, but I hope you won't!
3. First of all it is recommended to install the NGlide 2.10 program which allows you to play in "glide" mode. You can download it from here Zeus-software.com or find it in the new Aces Over Europe Guide folder (separate installation)

What is nGlide 2.10? NGlide is a 3Dfx Voodoo Glide wrapper. It allows you to play games designed for 3Dfx Glide API without the need for having 3Dfx Voodoo graphics card. All three API versions are supported, Glide 2.11 (glide.dll), Glide 2.60 (glide2x.dll) and Glide 3.10 (glide3x.dll). nGlide emulates Glide environment with Direct3D and Vulkan. Glide wrapper also supports high resolution modes.

1. The “Extras” directory inside the Aces over Europe folder is gone, it has been deleted. It is now called “Aces over Europe Guide” and can be downloaded separately.

26. Graphical Interface – replaced single mission aircraft selection screens. The historical photos taken years ago by Claudio Wilches have been inserted, this to give coherence with the already existing photos.
27. Graphic Interface - The "Rescue" messages have been updated with the inclusion of some historical photos.

31. Pilot Map – The Classic map has been redone based on the map of an existing map (JWC Map). One of the most useful features of this map is that much of the coastline now reflects what you will actually see from the cockpit when flying in EAW. In addition, the borders of each state have been drawn and their capitals indicated. The names of the cities and objectives have been deleted, because they created confusion.
32. Pilot map – the NewMap_Eaw.ini file if renamed and replaced with the EaW.ini file in the Aces over Europe folder allows you to play with the new map created by MrJelly. I personally prefer the classic map, it's more consistent with the briefing screens and the rest of the game.

INSTALLAZIONE -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Se hai installata la vecchia installazione di Aces over Europe, disinstallala. Non è possibile sovrascrivere il gioco, avrai un C.t.D.
2. Installare Aces Over Europe Edition 2022 seguendo le indicazioni a video. Il file è autoinstallante e non utilizza il file di registro di Windows. Vuoi disinstallare Aces over Europe? È semplice, dal pannello di controllo o dalle icone che sono state create appositamente, ma spero che non lo farai!
3. Innanzitutto si consiglia di installare il programma NGlide 2.10 il quale permette di giocare in modalità “glide”. Lo puoi scaricare da qui Zeus-software.com oppure lo trovi nella nuova cartella Aces Over Europe Guide (installazione separata)

Cosa è nGlide 2.10? nGlide è un wrapper 3Dfx Voodoo Glide. Ti permette di giocare a giochi progettati per 3Dfx Glide API senza la necessità di avere una scheda grafica 3Dfx Voodoo. 31. Mappa pilota – La mappa Classica è stata rifatta sulla base della mappa di una mappa esistente (JWC Map). Una delle caratteristiche più utili di questa mappa è che gran parte della costa ora riflette ciò che desideri effettivamente vedere dalla cabina di pilotaggio quando si vola in EAW. Inoltre sono stati tracciati i confini di ogni stato ed indicate le loro capitali. I nomi delle città e degli obbiettivi sono stati cancellati, perché creavano confusione.
32. Mappa pilota – il file NewMap_Eaw.ini se rinominato e sostituito al file EaW.ini nella cartella di Aces over Europe permette di giocare con la nuova mappa creata da MrJelly. Personalmente preferisco la mappa classica, è più coerente con le schermate di briefing ed il resto del gioco.
