In Infestation you play as a mercenary who's job is to go to areas heavily populated with mutant bugs (think oversized bugs) and remove all presence of them from the area. We are planning to implement 4 player co-op but it is not 100% set due to UDK not having online play atm.

The missions will take place in exciting locations including a lost aztec city, a laboratory in a volcano and many more. You will also get to pilot mech vehicles to help fight of the mutant bug hoard.

The game will feature alot of enemy's on screen at once and they will swarm at you. We are planning to make most of the maps destructible with the fracture tool and make it so the level changes depending on how "destroyed" the level is. As an example imagine a building with a ladder up to the roof. After the building gets attacked alot you may decide it will be better to hold out inside the building rather than on top.

The enemy's will also come in many different sizes. Like there will be many little bugs that just swarm you and distract you from the bigger enemy's. There will also be boss bugs that are huge, like 5 times your size that you will have to fight off.

One scenario for a mission is a cliff side house next to the ocean has a mech recharging on the roof and you come under attack from bugs. They start to attack the support beams that stop the house from falling into the ocean. You defend the house until the mech is fully charged then you fight back the bugs and escape. We are planning to use the new fracture tool on the walls and objects in the house to make the house realistically fall apart from the bug assault.

So far we are looking for:
2 Modelers
Someone that can script

Id be interested in modeling weapons part time, as im already in the Unreal Tournament 40 000 mod team. My main priority would be ut40k of course, but while i wait for solutions to my questions id be glad to help you guys out. Im sure i could spare some time for you.

Incase you didnt pick it up already im a 3d modeler, which basic texturing skills.

Really? Could have sworn that the Unreal Engine has had network support since the first version over ten years ago, and I've seen nothing that suggests it's been disabled for the UDK build. What's your source for that info?

I know unreal has online. The haunted said something about being unable to use online in UDK. Also I haven't actually seen and option to do online in it.

It's got online capability, just no built in server browser. There's everything you need to start development, and by the time you need a master server to drive a server browser there's plenty of options out there. Also, I consider unhooking Unreal3 from Gamespy to be a good thing rather than a loss of features ;)

OK sorry for the really late reply. Here are some pics of some Warhammer stuff ive modeled or am modeling for my main mod team, some of them are WIP's, some of them are finished. As you can see, warhammer models dont have much detail, which is why id like a chance at modeling something else, preferably for someone else lol. Most of these are low poly models too btw. Ofcourse, you cant have any of these models lol, they belong to UT40k ;)

Id like to model some realistic, modern weapons for once, im sorta sick of the sci-fi genre right now. What types of stuff would i be modeling for you if i did join? Also, just to remind you, i can only model part time, sorry, should be enough though.
