Sooo... Thread

When is the Mod of the Month gonna be updated...? Seriously it's been sitting there since January. And Nightfall has been there for that other award for a while now too.

Yer good question its about time for a update...

We're paying a lot less attention to MOTM and more towards putting new features out. We figure MOTM is just one big review, and having calendar-based deadlines just won't work out (that's why there's sudden spurts and then nothing for a few months). We're sorry for those that were looking forward to another Mod of the Month, but we figure so long as we fill that gap with 2-3 articles, it's all good.

the next mod of the month should be Twisted Metal Source. Seriously ^_^

As Karuto said, we're phasing MotM out in favour of having even more reviews and articles. We figured you'd rather enjoy three (or sometimes more) mods a month than one single 'highlighted' review.

Sorry. In the past, to even be considered for "Mod of the Month", you had to have a public release out, but nice try.

Maybe if you get something out, someone will do an article on it, though.

I was talking with Joe a while back on doing reviews of older mods. I'm going to wait till summer, but if I do a review and Joe likes it, I'll be on staff a third time.

Well I guess is makes sense. I noticed there were more reviews and stuff though. Yeah I'd rather have more of those than MotM.

Current top secret jibber-jabber is that Mod of the Month will soon be phased out in favor of another semi-regular feature or two.

TMS is dieing because we cant find a coder but the next mod we sure are gonna have plentyful media releases! we didnt even get enough for 1 for tms..
