i don't know if there is just maintenancebeing done or something's just screwy with your pages, but any page with audio (soundtracks, not videos) freezes when my browser starts to load it...

I recently upgraded the sites audio player so that might be the cause. What browser are you using?

Does this page freeze your browser: Moddb.com

well, yes IE8(8.0.7600.16385) and it freezes on the link you gave, the same thing on the 1st audio link,
the browser freezes when the load bar comes up, after few minutes it loads and unfreezes and work normal, seems to only happen on the new changes.

nope, still freezes...do you think you could make an option in the edit profile page that can switch between the new and old players? or would that be too much work?
Also, does the new player require any special stuff already downloaded (java, adobe, stuff like that)?

Checked on:
Google Chrome 7.0.517.44
FireFox 3.6.12
Opera 10.10
Safari 4.0.4 (531.21.10)

Works without a problem. Guys, perhaps it's time to change your web browser? ;-) Just kidding. :-P

I get web freezing when theres audio too. Seems to only happen on ie. Tried on opera works just fine, but i dislike every other browser. Any chances this will be fixed sometime soon?

It is due to the video player skin, so i've disabled it which causes the player to work. Just means that videos don't look as pretty in IE as they do in other browsers. I'm still trying to figure out a full fix: Longtailvideo.com
