As of last night, the mod database now has a new membership banning mechanism namly a 'warning system' Simply put, if you behave in a manner not consistant with the rules outlined in our terms of use any administrator will be able to issue you a warning. Should this happen, then you will receive a Private Message outlining why you were warned. If you receive 3 or more warnings your account will be banned indefinately. Note that warnings can and will be deleted if you behave respectably. Oh and in extention to this, forum abuse / comment abuse will not be tolerated anymore. If you do abuse these systems your permissions from them will be revoked (note that you will still be able to manage your mods) These are just the small measures we are taking to ensure the moddb is a fair and great place to visit. Now lets get back to building the best mods around Edited by (in order): BlueWolf72, azzDB -- Scott Reismanis |

Just as another notice, this does not replace the existing banning system. If you are being an absolute idiot and blatently break rules after being warned we can still ban you straight off, no messing about with the warnings system required. Here's to an idiot free modDB! |

No. For some stupid reason, we've been expecting people to have a level of maturity which meant we don't need to use that. Guess we've been wrong... --

Hey, Is this warning system a reason why the modlisting doesn't work ??? |
