List of Source Games Thread

I got bored so I decided to make a list of all of the Source games.

These are all of Valve's Source games:

Source Engine 1

Counter-Strike Source (November 1st, 2004)
Half-Life 2 (November 16th, 2004)
Half-Life 2: Lost Coast (October 27th, 2005)
Half-Life Deathmatch: Source (May 1st, 2006)
Half-Life: Source (June 1st, 2004)
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch (November 1st, 2004)
Half-Life 2: Episode One (June 1st, 2006) <-------- My birthday! Valve knew I was so awesome so they celebrated it by releasing it on my birthday.

Source Engine 2

Half-Life 2: Episode Two (October 10th, 2007)
Team Fortress 2 (October 10th, 2007)
Portal (October 10th, 2007)
Portal: Still Alive (Unknown)
Day of Defeat: Source (September 26th, 2005)

Source Engine 3

Left 4 Dead (November 17th, 2008)

(Hint: They love October and November as I noticed)

Games not made by Valve:

Dark Messiah Might and Magic
Garry's Mod
SiN Episodes: Emergence
Sting: The Secret Operations
The Ship
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

Kuma Games:

DinoHunters
Dogfights: The Game
The History's Channel's ShootOut! The Game

Kuma War Vietnam/World War II

I think that is it. I was just doing this to get Insurgency done loading so I couldn't do the release dates for the games not by Valve. If you love Source most of these games are found on Steam or kumagames.com (DinoHunters and beyond that). Garry's Mod is a game because it uses the full source code so don't say it's a mod and I'm a liar.

Nice One. I didn't realize that their where many Non-Valve source games.

so if Kuma War Vietnam/World War II is a source game does that mean I could add some striders?

no, because it's not dependent on hl2 base data

some of those are unreleased games which makes you have to find information and see if it is released or nonreleased. i think my list is better. btw Zeno Clash is coming out soon.

you shouldnt buy a game just because it is the source engine
and if you want it because you need the source sdk then you need more research since not all games have the source sdk
like sin episode 1, it comes with a sin 'version' of hammer but thats it

lol this list wasnt made for anyone to buy anything. im not a salesperson they decide if they want to buy it themselves. btw source games are usually fun anyways.

if all those games where linked to some screenshots or so then it would be a little more usefull but not alot
people that are interested in a game will most likely look it up themselfs, this list only provides a name wich is useless since they usualy allready know the name.

engine defines nothing to the fun factor of a game
sure it provides things for the fun factor but if it doesnt use it well then tough luck
every game these days have physics, thats a engine component
but the gravity gun is something thats specific to a game, not the engine
