Hostile Intent: Phoenix Rising - News Hostile Intent(half-life 1) originated from the Sherman Project back many years ago, it developed into a iron sight only game fixated on tactical gameplay. The mod includes prone smoke grenades, round base play, and capture objectives. Phoenix Rising is the Source version of Hostile Intent(SDK Base). A lot of the media coverage on the page is out of date for your information and will be updated shortly. Currently we are looking for a skilled animator/s as well as modellers and anyone else wishing to contribute. We have a lot of content including weapon models and animations but are really looking to improve them especially player animations. We already have two solid VERY dedicated coders, we are waiting on a little support in the other departments though. WIP

Heres another little snippet of Pampers map pr_airstrip, The mod also features the ability to prone, lean, smoke grenades, flashes, etc. Could be more with a little more help from you guys. Those pictures are the source version, the youtube video is the Half Life 1 version. heres a short video of gameplay we did this past sunday, we have a player modeller now for the time being so hopefully those player models will be gone and nice fancy new ones will be put in, we are still looking for dedicated modellers and animators. apple @ hiprmod.net or email me at ryukolink@hotmail.com If you have any skills which you think would benefit our team please email me at jobs@hiprmod.net or ryukolink@hotmail.com (mainly animators or modellers) If you have a model you would like to donate or anything please feel free to contact me, or any other skills. That looks great! Question: what specs are you running for this mod? Also, what framerate are you getting? We're doing a bit of foliage ourselves but we run into problems of density vs framerate. -- Project Berimbau - Third-person sword fighting game HL2 mod. |

I run a 7950 GT OS 1 GB 667 RAM and a 2.1 GHZ Intel 2 Core Duo, and I get about 50-60 FPS minimum 100 being the max. The current problem we have is that Valve has not released the "shader code" I believe is what our programmer told me, so our Night Vision gives you like 15 FPS, once they release that though we will be able to perfect the nightvision. Thanks for the support mflux! We are still alive and kicking of course, moving along nicely but a little help from any dev's out there would be appreciated(modellers/animators especially) Email at jobs@hiprmod.net New stuff coming soon! I emailed you. Thank you for your interest, anyone else that is interested as well can apply at: jobs@hiprmod.net We are now looking for: sound artist- that can make environment sounds and other various sounds( gun shots, footsteps, etc.) 3D Artists- moderately skilled Artists that can Model and skin/Texture. Level designers are needed as well but it would be appreciated and would benefit us greatly, if they could model props, skin them and make their own textures. Still looking for mainly a experienced sound artist to do various sounds, any experienced 3d ARtist we will look at too but no guarantees. Thank you.
