halo+source=true? Thread

anyone want to make a Halo/Halo2 mod for HL2? the game would look great, thats for sure. i think i know some people who can model halo stuff pretty well. anyone want to follow through with this idea? doesnt have to be about the Master Chief, but about a marine or something.

It's a pointless idea. More likely than not, Halo 2 will show up on PC, so there would be no reason.

Try something original. It goes far.

There was a spartan project for hl1 that allowed you to play as both sides...alien and marines or whatever (I dont like halo so I dont care). But yea it made it to internal alpha and bam! Bungie jumped said they could not finish it.

That was also called Halo Deathmatch and I warned them before that as well

Yea my friend was the leader for it. I think they got in trouble for naming it Halo deathmatch and then changed it to spartan project. I think he lost all of the mod in a system crash tho. Too bad, he had it all the way to alpha.

No, you are not, we are not, no one is, if you want to play Halo or Halo 2, why not just play them. It's not as if they are outdated. Discussion is frivilous.

Yea Halo 2 was a let down and Halo is just not fun anymore with HL2 out.

No... I don't understand why anyone would want to play Halo 2 anyway not to mention putting 6 months to a couple years of their time re-making a crappy game.

OKAY FIRST OF ALL, Halo 2's unreallistic low grav mid air accelerating bullshit engine is what makes Halo 2 fun. If you make it reallistic like HL2 then there's really no point.. Then it just wont be HALO 2. do you get what i mean? Anyway, If you want Halo then Go BUY the damn game, dont make an entire mod out of it..
