there are tuts just not for every game
more modder mod quake or hl1 than lets say another engine
+ whats the point of having another copy of it on the internet when you got it there

Did you just copy exactly what I put without looking two posts up, Tkaza? lol

No true point in having a Wiki for something like that, when we already have a feature covering basically everything you need to know as a modder starting off.

Yeah, already done for UT too - the BeyondUnreal wiki is often better than the official documentation. For the record (since this thread seems to be turning into 'where are the key game mod wikis' )

Wiki.beyondunreal.com

If you know of a game that could do with a wiki, but no wiki exists for it yet, then it would be worth starting one. However, I bet most moddable games have a wiki already.

Half-Life 2 modding wiki as well as the HL2 World Tutorials. I don't know about the others though. I don't mod them. ;) Try using Google.

I think we attract too much twunt attention to have a Wiki over here, it wouldn't be a good idea IMO.

that entry on wikipedia isn't very good... doesn't contain realy any info on Doom 1/2 & Quake 1, the games that made modding what it is. :(

anyway... www.modwiki.net

good d3 engine wiki. much better then the Q4 info on iddevnet.com & more detailed info then the D3 section.

Go play some Quake 2: q2server.fuzzylogicinc.com
It's like Source v0.9, only... better!
Play Paintball for Doom 3!: d3server.fuzzylogicinc.com
Doom 3 Paintball to the Max!
