Features for ModDB-Bar (FireFox Ext) Thread

I am nearing completion of the search bar aspect of the MoDB-Bar (toolbar) for firefox ..

The toolbar so far has facilities to search the mod databases news ,members,games and of course mods.
It is also a switchable toolbar and this is where i need suggestions.

So far i have plans for another 2 bars the Nav-Bar which may have things like modwatch jumpbox on it, quick links and im hoping to put alerts on it ie TW etc etc.

Also i have plans to create another side to the bar the Forum-bar to ease navigation etc of the forums..

Therefore i need suggestions on things to add to the forumbar and nav bar which you'd like to see or even maybe a (serious) idea for another side of the toolbar (its switchable so it only takes up one slot and switches using a context menu on right click)

So please go forth and suggest .. the more u suggest the better this Extension will be..

Will it really dynamically update the games with the site in sync?

at the moment no .. It should do soon , im working with INtense! to make it work..

it will be running off RSS feeds and everything else. This will be awesome once complete

I need ideas first thats the point of this thread which no one has seemed to realise

it looks fine to me, you could always add a Thread Watch an stuff like that, and a log in panel to use it

would you be able to add whats playing on the moddb radio?

that would be difficult, although, you could set up a Pal scripts for Requests, some broadcasters wont be able to retrive them though

Not so - I can get you an XML feed for modDB Radio if you want.

cool .. What about latest news scroller/marquee .. And i need to know which quick links every one uses (rember its a switchable bar meaning i can fit a load onto it), what you see is only a little bit of my plans for the bar..
So i need to know which links u use most and if you want them catagorising.

cheers i might do a few buttons with drop downs ie
forum button with > Active topics etc etc and a cpanel button with maybe links to various parts of tht.

Thought I'd do an update now that it looks better and searchbar works .. No xml feed stuff yet im afraid.

at the top is the modsearch bar next is the bar when lookin for news and tht last one is the nav bar with a button for forum navin' i need to know which site sections people want easy link access to.. as well as what else to add onto the nav bar,
