Do I even try? Thread

Ok try to make it small.

I have ZERO game making exp. Except two tiny little pixel games. I hired someone to make a demo for my dream game and I have the game design document. But no assets and like two drawings. I don't have much money and no friends that now game making. I don't know where to start. Can't hire a team because I don't have the money, and I don't have the money cause I don't have anything to present to raise funds, etc.

I don't know what to do next.

The tough suggestion - and tough follow-up - is to get the experience by doing it yourself. It's a tough place to start for sure, but if you've not got resources and not got connections, it's the only way to go. Make some of your own work; build up skills; produce a portfolio and then enough content for your own project that it can begin to attract attention (or give you selling points if you're going out there trying to find people).
