Hello,
I'm in the pre-production stage of an adventure game. It will be similar in style to Kentucky Route Zero and Another World although I would not mind using pixel art or a first person, 3D point of view if necessary. Are there any games with mod support that would lend themselves well to an adventure game? Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

There is Wintermute, however it's an engine suited for point and clicks.

Else I'm not sure what you're looking for.
