Ladies and Gentlemen.
It sure has been a while since the release of the SCP:Lost Facility Mod (SCP:LFM).
We would like to reflect on the history of this mod and how it became a somewhat of a success on Moddb..
From the beginning.
About the start of 2022 Thaumiel Studios was created on Moddb and posted it's first ever announcement/article on their profile for an SCP:Containment Breach Mod, soon enough the mod page was created and images were posted on the page with sneak peaks of the mod's first ever version, following the release of the mod page a first ever version was released and didn't change much but did make the game feel different.
Soon enough the updates began to ramp up till they begun to slow down..
At about Version 7.0 updates for the mods drastically slowed down due to lack of ideas for the mod but the mod was not yet finished with 3 more releases following after the 7.0 update.
That's when the entire mod page went quiet and soon enough it was announced that the mod was discontinued, however a new developer (Current one right now) took it upon himself to continue updating the mod and there has been yet to be a version 11.0 released..
I appreciate everyone's patience on waiting for update 11.0 and we'd like to say that it's not really close to finished but it may come out before the end of 2024, possibly even sooner around the start of 2023 if everything goes well. Just to mention that most of the delays on version 11.0 were caused by other projects i've been working on and haven't had time to focus on SCP:LFM but hopefully version 11.0 will be finished very soon.
So basically, in a very small summary.
The mod is going to receive updates again in an unknown time for now and there may be another SCP:Containment Breach mod on the horizon from Thaumiel Studios.
