Question 1: What kind of mod is this?

This is a modification for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 which extends the game fairly enough. 2 brand new factions + some new units and structures to the old factions, lots of new maps including a map pack with 16 recreated traditional maps based on earlier C&C games, LOTS of new protocols, an option that disables ultimate weapons and/or superweapons in skirmish and custom online matches, enhanced AI computer, cinematics from earlier C&C games possibly including RA3: Uprising, campaign for all the 5 factions and 12 missions for each campaign.

Question 2: When will this mod be released?

At this moment where I'm writing this now, there is no release date. We are currently working with the mod and a release date is to be announced later on.

Question 3: With Yuri's return, will he this time be balanced?

Yeah, as much as possible. We have all seen Yuri's Revenge and now that we have a basic "plate" to balance from, it's a lot easier that if we were to balance his army from scratch because of the mind control. We will release beta versions of this mod of course and will then receive lots of possibly good feedback + suggestions which will help us to balance, tweak and perfectionate the game itself generally.

Question 4: Secondary abilities in RA3 was a great thing. Same rule here?

Yes, we will be adding secondaries to all the additional units in the mod. In addition to that, more structures will gain secondaries too. This improves strategy, timing and of course, the fun in-game. Take Germany for example, all their production structures except MCV can toggle on a secondary which halfs the build time, but doubles the cost. That can for example be used if you really need to get something produced fast, but still on a fair side. ALL defensive structures will now have a secondary ability. Some of them improving in defence, while other in offense against incomming units depending on which faction you are playing too.

Question 5: We are aware of that the AI is gonna be enhanced. More info on this?

Yes, as we have stated, the AI computer is gonna be improved to use more smart tactics instead of only cheating like the main Red Alert 3 brtual computer does. To say it as easy as possible, all the AI levels will be raised one level, so Easy will be like Medium, Medium like Hard etc. and then this new difficulty which will hopefully kill you with glorance.

Question 6: What is the story? How is the situation for the world and the factions?

All of the factions suceeded in their campaign, but also lost. All of them are heavily weakned, but they all managed to conquer a lot of areas and lands. They all had to evacuate back to their areas to grow strong enough, but loyality isn't really the thing that follows the name of Red Alert, or is it? Two new factions have been spotted. Germany, starting to show seperatism from the Allies and taking hostile against their own comrades in their arms. Strange activity regarding gentism and energy has been spotted on the Antarctic. Zelinsky fears the worst of that. Who could that be? We will add a campaign for each of the factions, with FMVs on all of them and with 12 missions for each campaign making you feel the world conquering more than with only 9 missions.

Question 7: What is Yuri's and Germany's strong sides?

Yeah, Yuri excells at close distance mind control. That is something you should be aware of when playing against that faction. Also, Yuri's vehicles + aircraft can be pretty good if they are mixed.

Germany's side is unique and still unknown. More info on that later.

Question 8: What else is there to say about RA3: Resurrection right now?

This is something you should look forward to. We really hope that you will enjoy gameplay and the campaign + everything else added in the mod. If you ever find a bug/exploit/problem, submit a support ticket to inform us about it and it will be fixed in the next version. You can also submit support tickets to send us suggestions. Support tickets can be accessed from the mod's homepage when it's done. That was everything we had to say for now, but we will be posting up future Q&As in the nearest future. Until that, don't be too careful in Red Alert 3. >:D

How about the Germans have strong tanks but weak infantry and anti-air. Because in ra2 the german tank could easily crush through other tanks but sucked at infantry. Just an Idea...
