George Washington feature

George Washington was famously known as the 1st president of the United States and also as a general who fought for the freedom of the British Colonies in North America and led them to becoming a world superpower. George Washington is mostly known for his presidency of the United States, at the end of his 1st term he was urged to lead the country once again though he did not want to. At the beginning of his second term Washington feared he would become the equivalent of a federal prisoner. Washington fought during the Revolutionary war between the 13 American colonies and the British. During this time he led his men fearlessly and helped them survive during the winter at Valley Forge. Washington died in his home at Mt. Vernon on December 14 1799.
