The Lightweight Java Game Library (LWJGL) is a solution aimed directly at professional and amateur Java programmers alike to enable commercial quality games to be written in Java. LWJGL provides developers access to high performance crossplatform libraries such as OpenGL and OpenAL (Open Audio Library) allowing for state of the art 3D games and 3D sound. Additionally LWJGL provides access to controllers such as gamepads, steering wheel and joysticks. All in a simple and straightforward API.
A rework of the classic "Gorillas" game. Created in Java with several libraries, this project was created by four students with computer science as study course.
I get an "Unsupported major.minor version 52.0" error, possibly because i do not got java 8 yet. installing right now...
It works now :D a slider would have been more convenient to set the angle and speed but its otherwise very responsive :)
Yes, we were using the new Java.
For the slider, for the university project we used a given library which had no sliders implemented and the deadline (and the exams) did not allow us to implement as much as we wanted, thats why there is a fixed resolution.
But thanks, hope you enjoyed it :)
