Hey, this has been a great mod so far but I just installed this version and it crashes a few seconds into the initial loading screen. I've tried deleting the map/flag cache files, which didn't help. The only text on the loading screen (inside the bar) are 2 directories I don't think exist? Both in "c:/games/Victopia/..." which isn't an actual folder on my system (that I know of). After those messages, the game crashes. This never happened to me with earlier versions, IIRC.

Hi!

I don't know what could be causing the crashes, I've tested it on a few different systems and installs and it works fine.

The text on the loading screen is not a real file path, just a fanciful recreation of the actual loading stages (e.g. "C:\games\victopia\history.txt" is actually "Executing history".)

What version of Victoria are you using? What checksum do you have?

Hello, of course the question will seem a little arrogant, but no one calls you to do everything immediately. Will you be developing Europe? Or is it still far away and you want to finish North and South America?

So I did some playtesting.
The Core pop growth variable should be around 0.002 or 0.003, this is to prevent the explosion effects that is seen so early in the game as 0.02 is actually 2% growth, which with tech effects and healthcare can get waaaay out of control.

Education efficiency and or the base value of pops that effect literacy growth seems to be lower in general then what techs and reforms can provide as even with the pop change I made to 0.002, I was still getting negative literacy growth it was just very slow to go into that.
Started at -0.0187 and got it to -0.0162 by the time I ended my play test.

Also I somehow got Pan-Southern California Rebels organizing as Greenland, they didn't rise up cause I didn't have a good enough pop for them to do so, but still.

Overall the mod is shaping up real good and can't wait to see what the future developments bring.
