The Unification main installer. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY FOR INSTRUCTIONS!
Instructions for using the installer:
- Download the Unification Core Files,Unification Race Mods and the Unification Installer.
- Have these three files in the same location(usually,it should be your default downloads folder).
- Run the Installer exe and follow the instructions on screen.(Please mind the installer also counts as an uninstaller for any old version of Unification and the race mods as well as allows for installing the DOW Mod Launcher.
- Enjoy!
Instructions for manual installation (intended for Mac and Linux OS users as well as for whoever does not wish to use or can't for whatever reason use the installer):
- Manually delete any old version of Unification and race mods that you may have installed.
- Only download the Unification Core Files and Unification Race Mods archives.
- Unzip both of them directly inside your Dawn of War Soulstorm directory(does not matter which one gets extracted first).
- Download the Mod Launcher from the downloads section here and paste inside your Soulstorm folder.
- Make a shortcut of the Unification Campaign Configurator which is inside the extracted Unification_Bugfix folder.
- Copy the Movies folder from the DXP2 folder inside the Unification_Bugfix fodler if you wish cutscenes in the campaign to be played(the installer automatically copies them)
- Enjoy!

when itried extractng the core files into my soulstorm directory its stuck at 99 percent

You need to launch from the mod manager and have the unification races mod selected

I'm having problems when adding semi-supported races like vostroyan or tyranids swarm. For some reason I loose the "advanced building" screen and the turrets gets doubled so I can't even build high tier buildings like Daemon Pit for example... Any hints on how to fix this?
Current versions has issues with semi supported. Patch should fix all of those UI issues. :)

But I have one small question - in army painter i see a chaos lord (in chaos space marines) with different wargear, especially with nice lightning claws, but i can't find how to choose wagear in skirmish. Maybe someone can help me?

Nope. Instructions are extensive, if not mentioned in instructions, it's not something you should do.
Is automatic reinforce in the mod as a game rule?

first of all thanks for the effort put in :-)
now to my question: for some reason this build seems to be alot more unstable than the last. from 3 skirmish games I try to start, 2 are crashing while the game load. I installed the mod according to the guide. are there some skirmish settings that are known to be buggy? also I have a bug fix version in the mod launscher, but when I chose that all the new races are not available withing the game. am i missing something?

I have the 6.9 but i dont have the 3 new race why ?
by far most common thing is that you don't have 6.9 but "6.0". i.e 5.90.
Usually happens because people had the old archives in the download folder, downloaded the new ones. they got (1) in their name. and installer ofc only reads archives with exact matching names, i.e no (1), (2) etc in name.

well if problem is them having (1) in their name, then solution is ofc to remove (1) in their name.
Exact names are:
Unification_Race_Mods
Unification_Core_Mod
and ofc delete any other files in the same folder with those names before renaming.
Hey, I was playing this in the campaign mode, as Alpha Legion (at least) whenever you try to assault the dark eldar stronghold after about 5 seconds it pops a 'fatal scar error' message, the console says it failed to execute "rule_squad_tactics_helper". After some troubleshooting I ended up uninstalling the mod and the game, reinstalled fresh and it worked fine without Uni, so I got a fresh download with the thought a file might have corrupted on my first download, started another new campaign got there, bam scar error. So, at this point, more than 24 hours in to troubleshooting of both installer and manual, I think the problem has to be somewhere in your archive download. I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to be reporting it.

Tau stronghold will most likely crash you. And eldar stronghold also scar error.

it keeps on crashing whenever i want to start a skirmish! whenever a skirmish game is loading, it crashes half way and it never loaded to the game! what should i do?

When I try to run the mod, it crashes immediately upon launch. What am I doing wrong? there is no error report and no other error messages, the game just quits.

Amazing work first of all. But having problems in skirmish mode when i choose maps with 8 players, it crashes everytime. Its ok with 6 and less though.

I have problem with this patch. AI does nothing. Only build no attack me, too easy even insane. AI play usually but too easy. I don't know what is the problem

assuming you mean crashing when loading match, and not the mod,
and that everything is installed correctly, then odds are ram issues yeah. 8gb is enough, but there's more to it than that.

Hi, I am having issues with the campaign installer. For some reason when I try to go to the unification campaign settings it does not show any of the campaigns setting options or allow me to make modifcations. When I try to save the settings it says that it cannot find the path and it is an unhandled error. What should I do?
If it doesn't show any options that means you haven't patched.
apply the 6.91+6.925 combination patch.
