if it's a 1v1, having laa on should be enough regardless of other settings.

laa I turned it on the first time I started up.
Obviously it didn't help.
And in skirmish with most other factions everything works fine.

The only thing missing in this mod is an autocast of abilities option, at least for the simpler abilities. Something like that exists in UA and Crucible, but I much your mod :D

Perhaps in a future version. It is not as easy as it sounds for here, given the amount of more complex abilities we have.

For some reason in the campaign, when I chose the imperial guardsman and dark elder faction. For some reason the screen shows me the almost a cardboard model of the general armor and so was the dark elder. it also apply while trying to upgrade my general loadout during the campaign. Can you tell me what I did wrong? Even the music is acting weird. menu music is almost as it was playing half of the sound.

there is, people are playing with it, even had some cases in tech-support of it causing some issues (as it does for some people).
Sounds like you have a faulty patch

as I patch the mod. the Dark Eldar stronghold does not cause any Fatal Scar Error anymore. But still attacking the Tau stronghold crashes the game when the cinematics starts. How to Fix the problem? I'm using the Steam version. So far this is the problem I found in the 6.9.1 campaign. I also downloaded the Unification Campaign Add-on but I don't want to play the add-on for now.

What exactly is the difference between "Unification" and "Unification New Races" mods this adds? Both seem to have all the new factions.

No difference in 6.91, "new races" is being phased out.
there used to be a difference: "bugfix" only being new vanilla race stuff and new races being that + new races.
Now new race module's only practical utility is that it's a module to use when adding any of the six semi supported races (and has instructions of how to do that inside it)

So I installed the main Unification mod, the 6.9.1 patch, and the campaign addon. When using the DOW Mod Manager It shows three different Unification mods to launch. Unification_Bugfix, Unification_campaign_6.91 , and Unification_New_Races. They all say Version 6.9.1 in parentheses next to names. Does it actually matter which one I launch or are they all just the same thing with different names for some reason?

The mod and updates are awesome!
A minor bug I could spot:
Some bonus units in the survival mode do not have entries in the heroes scripts yet. For example the Custodes of the Space Marines cannot get experience.

I've installed the full mod according to the instructions and it was fully functional but after I added the latest patch it crashes on startup with this message:

"Fatal Data Error for 'modifiers\cost_requisition_modifier.lua' - the target entity type 'khm_bloodthirster' does not exist!"

Any recomendations on how I can fix this issue?

Skirmishes involving 3 or more players(computer/AI at least) crash, citing failing to create dump file or fatal scar error. One issue I've noticed with functioning matches, skirmish and campaign alike, is that sometimes the enemy will stop making incursions even when they'd been aggressive, regardless of faction or difficulty setting.

One of three things happens: They stop advancing and producing a standing army, possibly because early confrontation throws it off.

It'll stop incursions on hotspots midway through the battle, keep advancing and producing units, build a big enough late-game standing army to steamroll me, but still doesn't attack.

A variation of the previous issue; it'll get fixated on a requisition post around the equator of the map that's exchanged ownership once or twice and begin amassing its army on the requisition point that it's recaptured.

Not a bug, just a gripe with the vanilla game's programming. The eldar's AI play them like orks, but the unification upgrade has made them a nightmare on hard difficulty. Just wondering if it's possible to tweak their AI to play them like a guerilla band of psykers, not extra spammable orks with higher attack.

many only seem to read snippets or the last "tiers" of that post, it's meant to be read in it's entirety.

fatal scar error is another thing, tricky to troubleshoot properly here (better come to discord where back-and-forth, pics and error logs can be posted etc). Only general thing to say is check among your game ruels, no rules should be active that do the same thing.

you can also try removing and then adding back game rules to see if a rule is doing it.

Tweaking ai in the way you seem to want: no. What you can do as a user (besides learning AI coding and fighting the engine) is what you can do in the "AI control panel"
