Here it is. Blood: Trauma Therapy Episode II
After over one year in development I can finally release the second episode of "Blood: Trauma Therapy". Follow Caleb into the dephts of his mind, confronting his suppressed fears and .. finally reaching resolution...
Contents of this file:
- Trauma Therapy Episode I (with a lot of tweaks; see readme.txt for more information)
- Trauma Therapy Episode II
How to install:
To install just copy the content of the zip file into you blood folder. Run install.bat to:
- install and uninstall Trauma Therapy
- install and uninstall extra sounds
- install copyright music (for non-streaming players)
Do not delete any installed files by hand. Only use the install.bat. The installer runs in Windows as well as in DOS.
DOS, NBlood, BuildGDX and Raze can run the episode with various degrees of success. For more information on bugs see readme.txt.
Due to a bug in NBlood that affects ceiling-panning the last map is optimized for NBlood and not for DOS. If you play the map in DOS (or BuildGDX, Raze) the skybox will look weird. This bug will hopefully be fixed in the next revision, so I can update the map for the next version of “Trauma Therapy”.
Fresh Supply is NOT supported.
How to run:
- Recommended ways to run:
DOS: type “Blood -ini tt.ini” in DOS/DOSBOX
NBlood: Choose “tt.ini” in the Menu
- Not recommended ways to run:
BuildGDX: Choose “tt.ini” in the Menu
Raze: Drag “tt.ini” onto raze.exe

Have fun playing.
I came to donate some blood...Someone else's.
Thanks a lot for your work with Blood, I know this will be amazing!
Let's see what kind of goodies & easter eggs you put on Episode 2
Playing through it, so far it's absolutely phenomenal - I'm really bad at finding secrets though but the detail and the effects are incredible. Even as a long term Build engine modder myself some of the stuff I see really defies words. Awesome work!
Awesome work man, Trauma Therapy is my personal favorite Blood mod of all time. Honestly better than Death Wish. Really looking forward to this one. Thanks!
i cant install sounds
"One of required files was not found in current
directory! Make sure you have Blood installed properly.
Missing required file(s): BARFC.EXE"
but i have this file. Whats wrong?
Did you try installing on a fresh install of blood? Did you try to install it twice (that could mess up the installer)?
Can you send me the logfile in the "INST" folder via PM, so I can take a look?
Oh, and a really important question: what is your system (Windows, Linux, Mac)?
Do you install via Windows or DOS-emulation?
Just now i downloaded new version BuildGDX, but result is same.
I dont understand well how to do that
My system is Windows
Did you use the installer and read the readme.txt?
Please describe your problem in more detail.
I do not recommend BuildGDX, you will get some visual problems.
Could you make another mod file , but without voxels? My gdx port gives error when I finish the second level of episode 2
I played the Mod on BuildGDX, Raze, NBlood and every time I go to the tunnel of love and try to get the moon key, when I flick the two switches it deletes the key! nowhere to be found.
BuildGDX, and Raze seem to run the Mod fine so far, except the issue I mentioned. NBlood has a messed up palette. know how to fix that?

Yeah, while updating the old maps and changing mapeditors it seems some things got messed up.
In april I'll attend to those problems ( I already got a long list) and fix them. I'll update episode 1 and change some things like enemy placement in episode 2.
For now: sorry for the inconvenience :-(
I played the first episode last year and it was very frustrating, i managed to complete it only thanks to pagb666. I've tried to play the second episode but at map19 i gave up, it was more an headache than fun.
Also second episode is choke full of glitches and warnings on raze.
Sorry to hear that.
For your frustrating experience on Raze, as I layd out in the readme.txt: it's not supposed to be run with Raze (at the moment Raze has a lot of glitches)
I've tried to put everything in the root of the zip and to load it, everything now appears to work, the glitches were caused by missing graphics.
However several of the revised first episode maps have issues, but i heard a fix is on the way.
TT04 doesn't load at all on raze : "start sector -1 out of range. Max sector is 1005. No valid location at start spot"
It's always so damn envigorating to see new content being made for my favourite FPS game of all time.
I’m currently using NBlood. Awesome experience! But, a lot of textures are messed up.
I'm amazed by this mod and I'm crazy to play the second episode. After more installs and uninstalls, I managed to get the custom sounds right. However, when I launch the game, the screen takes a strange reddish hue (as if seen through a veil of blood now that I think about it), which is unlike the clear colors I see in the gameplay videos. Any idea why this could happen? (Unfortunately, I can't remember if the very first installment had this problem.)
molnara84 The problem your're describing sounds like the blood tries to play the whole maps in the wrong palette.
I'll do a new version of the episodes in the middle of April. Maybe wait until then OR try to install the episode on a fresh clean install of 'one unit whole blood'.
I only made a bat-installer. It has it's limitations. For example: It can't handel multiple installes in a row. The whole files get messed up.
Jee, thanks, it worked. It must have been the multiple install, then. I could as well wait, since its already April, but damn, I'm eager to see what TT2 has in stock. I'm a great fan of the city levels in the first episode.
Can I expect this problem if I use the bat file to set the alternative Phantasm voices, too, or does this problem only appear when I install the whole mod multiple times? (I would simply exclude the ******* Phantasm, so then there's no Phantasm sound problem; but it's really inventive that you try to make use of this enemy, it's really neglected in other mods.)
Using Raze 1.41 here. I honestly couldn't figure what to do on the first map, the one with all the hospital staff, there was a phone constantly ringing but nothing happened when I tried interacting with it. Got stuck inside the cafeteria with no way to exit, so I had to warp to the next map. There, everything worked fine until the door locked with the Eye key, which opens to a room with two Shial spiders. I had the key but the door couldn't be opened, so I clipped through it, killed the spiders and then I could get the door to open from the other side.
NaliSeed At the moment Raze isn't the best option to play the episode. As you described there are a lot of litte bugs.
The hospital section is broken in Raze. So I'd recommend NBlood.
Bummer. What about the first episode, can it be played on Raze?
I didn't explicitly test it with raze but I'm sceptical that it works flawless at the moment. I'd give Raze some more development time.
nBlood sucks aswel for this episode, you can find few bugs probably caused by nBlood, some of them easily break progress in few levels. So im keep asking which version of nBlood is recommended for this campaign if i want to avoid such bugs?
I dont count DOS version as a solution.
For example TT04 / train level, in one moment you should jump on other train, take a key which trigger explosions which can kill you, this force you to jump on first train in time. But in some parts of second train you can simply stay at place and avoid explosions, but you´re trapped on second train forever. And few more glitchy situations which made me to use noclipping. btw, many buttons from TT are extremely badly pushable, i had problems in both ports [nBlood and Raze], some of those buttons were importatnt for opening of secrets which makes things confusing.
Funny fact, train level works fine in Raze with no issues, but raze have serious problems with fall damage in later levels... Looks like every port have different issues with TT.
In other words....
Caleb is Still Crazy after all these years laughing manically in his dark padded cell...
Cool mod but focuses too much on fighting phantasms in episode 2 which becomes really repetitive.
For some reason, when I tried to uninstall this mod on both DOS and NotBlood (NBlood fork), it completely messed up all my files, and the installer acted like there were no modified files. When I booted the game bask up, the first thing I noticed was that the damn status bar was missing. I had to do a fresh install for both just to get the game working again. I don't understand what the problem is.

I'm playing this using NotBlood, which is basically a fork of NBlood with some extra features. I can't say if that's what's breaking the game to me or not, but I'm having a rather unpleasing experience right at the end of Episode I. I'm before the beast gate, but I can't get passed it because the map layout isn't as it was supposed to. I checked on pagb666's walkthrough and the level layout isn't the same at all compared to the version I'm playing, so I can't even tell if my game's even glitched or not.
It's just a shame, because I was enjoying your campaign a lot so far, but little details like that are just ruining it for me. I'll switch to regular NBlood and see if that works better for me.
Sadly I have to confirm that TT11 is definitely broken in this current version. I tried to play it on both NotBlood and NBlood source ports, then I tried a prior version for comparison. The level layout is radically different in both versions. The opening path to the left right after you kill the spider boss leads to a couple of weird pillars in which the 'Spawn' sign is clearly visible. I had no choice but noclipping my way through the mouth, and yet the final encounter also got bugged somehow.
I don't know what's happening, but I can't certainly complete Episode I's latest version on its current status. I wonder if this is a recurring bug or if it's just me, though.
pagb666 was playing on a previous version of Trauma Therapy, when episode two wasn't out yet. Perhaps that's why the level layout is different.
In the main page of the mod, the author has confirmed the following:
"Episdoe 1 is a little buggy after editing the existing maps for episode 2. Right now I'm working on my new episode, so I don't have any time fixing the problems right now.
But I already have made a list with all the issues. When I'm done with my new episode I will attend to TT again.
Fro now: sorry for the inconvenience."
