Please note! Thunder's Leaves require next:
1. Have a Steam version of Half-life 2 (or episodes).
2. Have Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer which installed via Steam.
3. In the properties of Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer under "beta" must be specified as "upcoming".
4. Thundersleaves folder should be located in the "sourcemods" directory. Example: D:/Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/Thundersleaves
Helpful thinks:
- You can change the subtitle language using the "cc_lang *language*" command in the console

1.Thunder's Leaves требует установленный Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer в клиенте Steam.
2.Также убедитесь, что в свойствах Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer в разделе "бета-версии" указан параметр "upcoming". Это необходимо для запуска.

I'm waiting for this mod idk 3-4 years and finally it will be worth the wait!
So when I try to play steam says im in Thunder Leaves but the mod doesn't open (I have source sdk 2013 set to upcoming and half life 2 downloaded)
Make sure that "source sdk 2013" is updated after "upcoming" set
and how to check that?
Also try to create a shortcut of hl2.exe from the "source sdk 2013 singleplayer" folder with next parameters and launch it:
"*path_to_source_sdk_2013_base_singleplayer*\hl2.exe" -steam -game "*path_to_sourcemods*\Thundersleaves"
My shortcut parameters for example:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer\hl2.exe" -steam -game "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\Thundersleaves"
still nothing
update: task manager shows that theres a hl.exe running in the backround, it doesnt close when closing steam only way to close it is by task manager
ok so its something with source sdk, tried to open a mod that worked before and same thing happened
Try reinstalling, or check the cache

Have been following this mod for a few years now waiting for it to be released. And now that time has come! So, will play this one with great precision and care. And I am quite sure that I will love each and every moment of it. Of course, will I review it once I am done.
For now, thanks Andrey_Gorkin, for all the time and effort you did put into this. As a modder, I know all too well how much it takes to get something like this released!

You can just move mod folder to the base game folder (where hl2, episodic and other ****) and then create a shortcut of hl2 with commands like
-steam -game thunderleaves
OR JUST MAKE A BAT FILE
