Thief Gold HD Mod v0.9.2 - Patch (Installer) file

Hi,
First, I would like tot hank you for the realisation of this mod. Iplayed at Thief at the release and this is with a great enthusiastic feeling I lwould like to immers myself in the game again because your mod. Unfortunately, I didn't manage how to make it works. Here my system:
Win7 x64, evga 680 gtx classified, evga x58 Mb, 12 Gb DDR3.
I have the steam version of thief gold. I have followed the exact process to patch the game (0.91 then 0.92 whithout to forget to close steam before). I choose my options with new dark 0.8 and then launch the game via THIEF_no_ddfix.EXE. The game launch perfectly but no eye cnady at all in game; training, missions...So, what is wrong ? Do have I to install something else , What exe I have to launch after installing the game ? Thx for your help ! I cant' wait to enjoy your mod, sincerely ! Thx :)

Otherwise, i'm tired with the steam version so I just bought the gog version. tell u more later if it works ;)

Waow ! It's working and it's GREAT ! My skin is thrilled ! Ok, ok let's me recover my spirits plz ^^

Think I have found the error with steam. Don't sure about that but it is completely stupid from the part of steam. The driver by default is set to HARDWARE ! And with the limitations it could explain. Otherwise, I don't understand why textured files was not modified...

So, finally, it works great with GOG version and, sincerely, I prefer highly this version that the one from STEAM. Feel that Gog have respected the authenticity of the game; by exemple, intro, logo are present at the launching of the game and video compression are very much better :)

I went and found my Copy of thief (not gold) Install it then install the Full installer only to find out this does not install all the things I need to get this running. And became sad, the lest that could of been done is have a link to ALL the extra stuff that is need on info page of this mode

I got it working but Movies dont play. now

For some odd reason my fire shadow textures aren't loading out properly. The one I encountered in the Bonehoard is basically a completely black body with red eyes.

I've Installed the mod, but not sure if I've installed everything correctly because I can't see the improved vegetation, for example on the training level when I get outside to where it teaches you about weapons the trees/plants are invisible also also the targets rings in the same section don't have appeared to have changed either, I've seen the screenshot in the images section which shows what they're meant to look like. what do I need to do to see these textures correctly I know the mod is partially working as other HD textures are working fine. I'm using the GOG version if that info helps

How do I post screen shots? so I can show the error, I know I need to do it in the forums as the comments section only allows text,I've tried uploading a screen hot there but when I try adding the screenshot it doesn't appear.

Very nice job Bentraxx, the game looks awesome now. Tried it on my laptop but playing outside is impossible, so will have to give it a real go on my desktop. I tried turning off post processing to see if this would increase the performance but after the video before the training is finisned I only see the loading screen and my screen flickers. I hear the instructor talking and I can walk but I can't see anything. Any ideas?

I Tried reinstalling the mod to see if I had done it wrong, but now I'm getting the same problem as Raymundo46 where the screen just flickers on the loading screen

Der Mod scheint ja super zu sein, aber ich überblicke die Installation überhaupt nicht. Hier findet man als Installationsanleitung nur eine textfile (warum eigentlich immer eine textfile und warum ist sie nicht bereits im download integriert, hier auf moddb war sie ziemlich versteckt), die auf andere Mods verweist. Von denen ich noch nie gehört habe. Was ist TFix, was ist Newdark?

Ich will einfach nur das Ding installieren und spielen. Bei den Stalker HD Mods war das problemloser.

Und vor allem: Funktioniert der Mod mit der deutschen Version (Directors Cut) oder nur mit Thief Gold?

Bitte um eine simple Installationsanleitung - die jetzige hier ist für Leute zugeschnitten die bereits einige Erfahrung mit Thief Mods haben.

Awesome upgrade!! However: Everything in the game works real smooth, exCEPT: ***THE WALKING SPEED!!!*** Why do I walk so slow (forwards only; walking backwards is the perfect speed...)???

Some of the textures are still low-res after I apply 0.91 full installer and 0.92 patch afterwards. Street lamps for example are still low res (but I know they have hi-res textures in the package!)
Using GOG-Version of Thief Gold and TFix 1.18g
Strange however: if I only apply the 0.92 patch (without installing 0.91 first!) I only get hi-res street lamps, but low-res textures for everything else!
Any ideas?

Hey Bentraxx, just installed your mod but for some reason it's not quite installing correctly. I have the old disc version of Gold so my path for the mod goes as the following.. D:\Games\Eidos\Thief Gold\HDMOD

I'm launching directly out of the Thief Gold folder as well to make sure I wasn't playing off of another install I had previously. The new graphics mod window seems to open fine so I can apply settings but in-game they seem to have no apparent effect. Any ideas where I may be going wrong?

All *.png files broken, when decompressing. Why?
