I might have done something wrong but I tried to follow the directions as closely as I could. The battles work but it loops back to the previous screen when I try to start a campaign.
the campaign nor the battles dont work, i have patch 1.05 and done the installation.
Great mod, but i as a dutch myself it bothers me that the Netherlands is nothing more than a sea with 2 cities at it's costs. Dorestad(wijk bij duurstede) is quite a southern city en doesn't border any sea only a river(the Lek).Groningen is a northern city and doesn't border any water at all. So is there a fix for that or can someone make that or something?

Dorestad is not Wijk bij Duurstede,... It was the first city (voor ze de wijk namen) bordering the Sea (Zuiderzee, nu IJsselmeer en polder....). At some point it was even Danish, but even then it was plundered by other Danes while the boss was fighting for the Franks. There was less land with a lot of swamps, but Groningen was far fetched.... I would opt for Nijmegen for an inland City and Katwijk as a small city near the sea. But Dorestad has to stay as one of the wealthiest, but also much invaded city....
hi, I need help, because the game works fine in 3.5, but if I try to launch a campaign in 3.6 CTD with a message like this "Odin help us! Something went wrong and only Thor might know what. I have no idea what Happened, I know I am exiting now. "I need some help i'm confused.
Where are the "swedish" vikings? Alfheim or whathaveyou?
this looks like a very good mod. hahaha vikings. yha its the best
can the vikings be broken and rout. because they believe in the true gods, and they wouldent come to valhall if they didnt die in combat. so, are the vikings in this mod un breakible.
Well what if they have wives and kids to return to? Or what if they just get caught up in fear? Most vikings were very poor peasant men who went on a raid for some money. These are reasons I just thought of off the top of my head for as to why they would rout.
Aye routs were a thing even for Vikings I'm afraid. Losing men would be one of the many reasons to run.

Whenever i go through the installation process, No shortcut to launch the game appears on my desktop. is there a fix or way around it? Thx!
Crash at startup with a message "Odin Help us!...".any ideas??
Umm this might be my computer but it only downloads 300 mb and not 700 tell me if its my computer or the file

Does anyone know a mod that lets you build new cities like in Empire? The way you can have multiple cities/ports in one region? I would buy Empire, but 1) I already have M2 and 2) I don't like the warfare style in E:TW.
Looks nice, but it crashed while loading the first battle. I was playing with the Danes.
How come the Swedes are not represented in the campaign?

hi guys, i just bought medieval t war II(+Kingdoms) on steam.
How do we instal all these lovely mods ? or should i buy the cd's?

For "The Last Kingdom v3.06" download, unzip, and install as described in the "Readme" file
Installation order:
---> Last Kingdom 3.05.exe ---> Last Kingdom Patch 3.06.exe ---> 20121109 - tlK - historic_event - quick fix.zip (extract in data/text)
For the last part the folder can be found under: .../steam/steamapps/common/Medieval_II_Total_War/mods/Last_Kingdom
Then open bat files in the Last_Kingdom folder using notebook and change kingdom.exe to medieval2.exe and save. Do this for Baptized_Normans.bat, Executive.bat and Pagan_Normans.bat.
And then enjoy these lovely mods

V3.06 - THIS IS A PATCH!!
WHERE IS V3.05!!?? WHY IS THAT NOT INCLUDED IN THE FILES TO DOWNLOAD?
NO WONDER EVERYONES GAME IS CRASHING, WHEN THEY ARE NOT EVEN GIVEN THE RIGHT DAMN FILES WITH CLEAR INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS!!!!
Finally got it to work downloading from twcenter v3.05 and v3.06.. But you made the process unnecessarily confusing and complicated trying to get it to work, deleting map.rwm, applying 4gb patch, renaming kingdoms.exe, renaming last kingdom folder to one of the kingdoms campaign folders..
