Full release of The Forgotten 1.2.0, featuring balance changes for the Forgotten faction
Changes for The Forgotten 1.2.0:
- Longhorn passenger capacity reduced from 4 to 1
- Longhorn passengers now receive 75% damage bonus
- Longhorn prerequisite changed from Tacitus Library to Garden of Life
- Longhorn damage against tank and heavy units increased 50%
- Tiberium Fiend weapon damage increased from 60 to 75
- Bulldozer now immune to mines and Disintegrator's crush death weapon
- Jeep speed reduced from 130 to 110
- Jeep DPS increased by about 78%
- Jeep damage taken from GUN and GRENADE weapons decreased by 25%
- Jeep damage taken from rocket weapons increased by 10%
- War Camper base damage increased from 500 to 600
- War Camper damage multiple for aircraft decreased from 120% to 100%
- War Camper range increased from 250 to 275
- New Fissure Tank projectile model added (thanks Egozi)
- Fissure Tank acceleration and turn rate greatly increased
- Fissure Tank now puts tread tracks on the ground when it moves
- Fissure Tank damage taken from GUN and GRENADE weapons reduced by 50%
- Logistics Blimp missile jamming code reworked, now much more effective
- Fixed typo in Veinhole Monster superweapon description

does this mod works in vanilla campaign?
No, but it has its own five-mission campaign instead.
The Forgotten faction has only Marauder infantry unit. No other units like the engineer, therefore, can't capture a structure.
Are you capturing a Mutant Hovel tech structure? That's a sure sign that the mod isn't being loaded (we moved the Hovel over to the Forgotten faction).
I built or constructed a hovel from build menu for infantry. But it only contains Marauder and nothing else. I can't even capture a tech structure because there is only Marauder in the Hovel barracks. No other infantry to train only Marauders.
That's very strange. The Forgotten faction has a total of 7 infantry units, including an engineer unit. Can you build all the vehicles and aircraft?

I've tested the MOD on the exact same map, and no such issue exists.
The map is the first Skirmish Map (the default map at the top of the list), and I started from the exact same position as you did.
My question would be:
Are you using an edited version of the map in question?
Also, are you using other modified files in conjunction when running the Forgotten MOD?
Failing any of the above, are you using a genuine version of the original game and is it fully up-to-date?

I found the reason, I'm using an edited customed made map. I tried it on normal built-in maps & works fine. Is it possible to play it with all the available infantry units in edited customed made maps?
it will be specific to maps that edited the properties of the Mutant Hovel in their Overrides.xml file located in that specific map's directory.

Ah, so that's the reason you were having a problem. There's probably a reference to the vanilla Hovel code somewhere that the custom map was overriding. I'll have to go through the Hovel code and remove such old references to they don't conflict with maps that override the Hovel.

There lot problem of the forgotten mod that ally or enemy forgotten factions AI in skirmish are very dumb compare to others factions. I play Medium, hard, and brutal difficultly. Forgotten ally or enemy AI medium, hard, and brutal make a Messenger send them to Tiberium areas but they don't pack expand to areas and also almost all combat units AI makes follow Messenger. Also another problem of forgotten mod skirmish is ally or enemy AI forgotten factions never produce longhorn units in easy, medium, hard, and brutal difficultly. AI forgotten factions always train other unit like Bulldozers but I never see them train Longhorn in skirmish easy, medium, hard, and brutal difficultly. Please fix the forgotten mod.
I've already tracked down a bug in the Messenger that kept the AI from using it properly. As for the Bulldozer and Longhorn, it may be that the AI sees that they have the same kind of weapon and just goes with whatever has the higher DPS/Cost ratio, ignoring the fact that the Bulldozer's weapon has more restrictions on it (such as shorter range) that make it less powerful than the AI thinks it is. Or maybe the Bulldozer really is OP and the AI is picking up on that?
Minus a moderate Health Bar (expected of a Tier 3 Unit) and the fact it can one-shot Harvesters if you're not careful, I wouldn't say the Bulldozer is OP. It is easy to counter, and overall, I personally don't see it as a useful unit. Just my personal opinion, though it has its own place I guess (same as Soviet Grinder Tank).
How do you install the mod itself, I have the game on origin, but there was no Documents folder and such

As for where to install, you need to unzip the contents of the mod download to [Documents]\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\The Forgotten, creating any folders on that path that don't already exist.

Sad to see the Forgotten are still vastly underpowered and trash to play..first mission and the GDIs "small outpost" is vastly superior in every way by units *yawn* sad. Even if you get equal units (like tanks) yours go down after a few missiles, nothing feels comparable in any way..only far weaker, whats the fun?

God I hate Windows 10...
After the latest Update I can no longer play this mod.
I keep getting out of memory error's to where the game crashes. Its strange cause it only happens with this mod. This time it happened right as I was about to save my game something I have to do often if I want to play this mod.
So much just for wanting to play the campaign again. I miss Windows 7 So much but have over 10 terabyte of hard drive space combined over 5 different hard drives. Really can't be bothered reinstalling Windows just to play this mod.
Ill try reinstalling the game but really this shouldn't happen. Every Windows 10 downgrade I do makes the OS even worse. I wish Microsoft would leave it alone.
