Is there any way to use the Red Dot on the HAMR sight? I've tried using the Alt button, but all I get is a reply from the console?

Hey the reply from the console is an oversight lol, I left debug mode on by accident. Going to patch that out. But YES you can use that sight, just HOLD alt instead of tapping.

Thanks for the reply! Debug mode isn't too big of an oversight. Seems that it only really happens when using alt for scopes. Side point, there does seem to be an occasional bug with the snake cam, my limited testing seems to indicate that it only happens depending on the degree of door opened in fluid. One more thing, it seems that integrating ECT after Oct 2020 Supply drop makes Supply Drop revert to an older model, while installing Supply Drop after installing ECT makes the game crash. I'm unsure if this is my own user error or if it's SD needing a patch?

I'm not sure exactly how ECT implements my work, but I think it was based on an older version of Supply Drop, so when you install it over the newer version, you'll erase many of the updates and improvements that I made. It's up to the creator of ECT mod to either: update his mod to include my latest work, or better yet, make his mod a separate menu entry so people don't get issues when I release a Supply Drop update.

Are you using ECT, jo's weapons, or other mods? There should be no issues with just Supply Drop sounds, since nothing changed between versions as far as sounds goes.

What does the "support for custom FOVs" in the patch notes mean? I was hoping it would fix the issue of the FOV resetting upon zooming in or reloading with any of the guns the mod adds, but it still seems to be doing that. Incredible work you're doing with this mod btw.

Hi, just went digging to remember what I did when I wrote that :) As long as you have the latest OpenRVS patch, FOV support works in Supply Drop just like vanilla. Set your desired FOV up to 140 in OpenRVS.ini. Make sure you haven't installed any "FOV mod" from any other developer because they are buggy.

what weapon has the side iron sight ?
i tried all weapons but none of them has the backup sight excepct the HAMR that switches from 4x scope to red dot

one more question i can't get the tango ai mod to work with supply drop.
it works fine with the vanilla but when i activate supply drop there is no line in the console that says it's active.

Make sure you install the AI mod in the SupplyDrop.mod text file, NOT the Ravenshield.mod file.

Other user is correct, currently console command is the way to go. I'm working on a graphical interface for customizing gear on a gun, but it's a ways off right now.

You'll have to contact the creator of that mod. When he made ECT mod, he used my work (with my permission) as the basis of his mod. Now that Supply Drop is updated, he'll have to implement that himself.

The new default snake cam is great to have, freeing up the item slot and having it equipped on all squad mates by default, working fine on closed doors. However, the snake cam no longer automatically activates around corners, it will work (sort of/usually) when right up against a corner when aiming at a precise spot by pressing the shift(run) key but this can often be very tricky to achieve, slow, and kind of buggy as it will try to activate but doesn't and gets caught in the animation of lowering the weapon and becomes annoying/frustrating. In the previous version the snake cam on corners while crouched I found was sure and responsive, could move around the maps more quickly and confidently, move up to corners, cam activates automatically, quick check and and move on, great smooth flowing game play. I just tested both (previous and new versions) and most unfortunately had to revert to using the old supply drops and Jo's old weapon pack. If you could consider bringing back that auto cam on corners mechanic (if it's possible) in a future update it would be most appreciated. Thanks Twi.

Just took a look at my code to refresh my memory. Looks like when I transfered the code from being a "gadget" to being an integrated part of the game, I removed the ability to look at the ground at corners to trigger the corner camera. Most likely to simplify my code and to eliminate some funny errors I was getting, and because I had gotten some complaints about the feature. Holding Run key to activate corners is still there and every time I test it it's pretty smooth and easy to use. Is this something that you can get used to or a deal breaker for you?

OK did some fighting with the code, and I've fixed the bug where it gets stuck in a loop of lowering weapon trying to activate. I've also re-added the ability to look down at corners. This will come in an upcoming patch.

That's really good news about the cam. All being well that can be fixed without those errors you mentioned. Personally, I have become so reliant on that auto-cam and without having to manually activate it, playstyle has changed a lot from having that one mechanic that it certainly would be a deal breaker for me to have to use the run key, so it'll be excellent to have that back in game with the new supply drops. Looking forward to that update. Thanks again.

Patch released. The snake bugs are fixed, and there's a console command to activate the old corner snake behaviour. :)

Just installed the new supply drops with the patch and all is working fine. Greatly appreciate having that auto corner cam again. Back in business and much looking forward to trying out more of the new stuff included. Once again many thanks man.

Replied above but just in case: Follow the installation instructions, but do them in SupplyDrop.mod file, NOT Ravenshield.mod file.

Okay, I feel like I must be an idiot or something because I cannot figure this one out.

with the Oct 20 version I cannot exit to main menu after activating the mod. I'm stuck in options and hitting the return button does nothing. I haven't tried reinstalling the entire game yet but I will.

I updated the open RVS to 1.4 and I deleted the old version of SD. I'm at a loss. Anyone know what's going on?

most likely, you copied the folder and the supply drops file with the replacement, but you need to delete the old ones and insert the new ones. If you have the EСT mod installed, then insert the files Supply Drops & Ravenshield files that Jugulator made Moddb.com

A few people have been getting this error. It seems to occur EITHER - when people copy over the folder without deleting the old version first, OR - when people have installed OpenRVS v1.4 then later add a mod or patch that includes an older version of OpenRVS. I pretty much guarantee that if you look in your Ravenshield.log file, you'll see OpenRVS errors. You can probably fix this by re-downloading OpenRVS v1.4, and copying the included files into your Ravenshield System folder.

My friend, please tell me how to add new music tracks to the game.I mean the music playing in the game menu. What program to use to unpack/pack the music file in the "sound" folder. I also liked the idea of making some gadgets available by default (snake Camera). It may be worth removing all the others-such as a set of Demoman, electronic engineer, gas mask (on a separate button), it would be possible to display the texture of glasses when using a gas mask. You can also combine night vision with the animation of turning on the heartbeat sensor.

You can use UnrealEd (included with the game) to import new music. It will take some code to make your music play at different times though.

Unfortunately, I don't have UnrealEd, and I probably won't be able to do it, but maybe you can expand the number of music tracks in the main menu of the game by simply adding bill brown tracks from previous parts like Rogue Spear, etc. This will significantly improve the game because during the long-term planning of the operation, the 2 original tracks are terribly boring.

Sorry, laser sight was removed temporarily. I have plans to implement an AN/PEQ-15 so I'm in the process of removing the old laser and standardizing how it works.

Any progress on AN/PEQ-15? I play without reticule and laser sights on Jo92's weapons are SO GOOD :) I'd really like to use them on your weapons.

Also is there an official list of the new weapons and gadgets added by Supply Drop?
