The yearly summer update for my mod with new, fixed and balanced stuff
Is it really that time again? Yes it is, summer update! There is alot of new stuff for Skirmish and GC, not only units, but even bug fixes and alot of balancing has been done so far since the release of 2018 December.
You can now build Halo Ships for Skirmish and for the GC. They have their hardpoints shown, a balanced approach of their weapons against each other and against the Star Wars and Star Trek Units. To get them in the GC you either need to capture Reach or Sangheili and build their shipyards. The Tech Level also plays a role here.
I've added, with thanks in bug fixing from SirionJadie, some abilities to the ground units. Which are bit basic, but will be defined more later on.
I've added a new Hero Unit. Inferno Squad. They have their own ship the Corvus and can also attack on Land with Iden, Hask and Del.
New are now a Light Cruiser, better known as the Arquitens and two new types of Bombers. The Heavy TIE Bomber and Advanced TIE Bomber. The Arquitens will replace the old Tartan Cruiser.
Tarkin has received a buff to his ability and currently in plan is to have him as an acting unit in a Star Destroyer.
The Federation received a small DPS update, because they were lacking "dakka" against their enemies.
The Damage of Covenant Units has been increased.
To further improve the Ground Battles the reinforcement points have been all set to 10.
New sounds have been added just for the Halo Ships.
Also there are alot of more smaller balancing and bug fixes, which should improve some units on both sides.
More is planned to be done over time and as always: If you find anything that is a bug, please report.
