How does this mod install? Do I just copy over the contents of this mod into HPM or is this standalone?
It is a standalone, but you do need to have HPM as well.
Ok, that might be a problem then: I have the mac version of vic 2 which doesn’t allow me to run two mods simultaneously. Would copying over the contents of this mod into HPM still work?
You have to run HPM first, start a game, then close vic2, open the launcher again and run ONLY SoE in order for it to work.
That happens because the first time you run HPM, the mod creates some folders inside Paradox Interactive/Victoria 2, and SoE use these folders.
Correct, and the map definitions.csv also points to /mod/HPM/map/definition.csv, so you need HPM because of that as well.
