SMOD 40/a FIXED file

ugh, I got a few bugs - some of my weapon icons are letters, and my crosshair is a "Q"...

if a weapon in the place where u pick the weapon and it is not a shape but a letter. It also doses this to some custom sweps in gmod. so it is the source engine not the mod. Because zoey's MW2 sweps did have letters. But as long it has the name u know what it is!

HEEEELLLLLLL YEAH! I must've played through HL2 about ten times, and nine of those ten times were with various versions of SMOD. But ever since Valve "fixed" it a year ago, I've been without it. Thanks for getting it working again! :D

First off awsome secound..is it possible 2 make this in 2 lets say.. hmm hl2dm? like add the weapons.. models...slowmotion? or is it well not gonna work cuz it still uses the old engine? or is it using the new 1?

This mod is simply addictive!
The default weapons are just half of the fun you can do to this modular
type of mod. Right now I'm having blast using custom tactical weapons and editing
everything I love to do on guns and that's tweaking the ammos, rof, recoil, damage control
etc etc etc. It's a bitch though to make non iron sighted weapons but eventually I got
my custom ak74m model with working iron sights. Super MoD indeed!!!

uh when i try to load any level it show the load level box but it only loads about 35-40 percent then nothing the game freezes, whats wrong?

It's been 8 years since I played hl2. I always wanted to play it again but always
felt unexcited when I recall the default weapons it has. Now with smod awesome custom weapon support especially iron sights I can finally replay hl2 with a vengeance hehe!
I can finally use all those high quality custom css weapons models (@fpsbnana) I've always wanted to play in a different manner and that is in sp mode, with iron sights, damage control,
rof tweaks, some crazy scripts making a shotgun or rpg have full-auto capability, etc etc haha easy kills to all npc. SMOD - The Author ...tnc you sooooo much!!!...and of course tnc you as well to s██Z☢™_Stop_ACTA for uploading a really good fix of smod.

I will soon make a video of all my kick *** smod custom weapons (about 50+ cool weapons) in action soon and will share them to the public.

Whew, cool! I can finally complete g-string mod using smod!!!

Hl2 works, smod 40/a fix doesn't,
Let me say what it's not working on Smod, (HL2 WORKS PERFECTLY)
In intro Gman is mute, don't say a word, after we are in the train, there's no train Horn as we got control, like normaly, after train stops both guys just stand with the suitcases, don't even move, All, and i mean ALL Citizens that i try to talk or throw stuff at them they just say...
"Ware!" one voice only, for even women, after we get out the train, Where's Breen speech? i just move ahead and hear the supose "Death" sound but no image, the combine that threats the guy trying to grab his bag after you leave the train and before you talk to the Lady, they don't move, for nothing, the vortigaunt on the right after you leave, he walk, the animation is broken also, on hl2 all these worked, smod 38 worked, why the **** this is happenening? tryed to redownload and same ****, these are just some bugs, there are plenty more ahead, i can't even reach Barney.

Probably you're using a non-steam standalone hl2.

f**k...f**k.... F**K!!!!
When ever i try to f*cking load this f*cking mod it goes to the logo of valve, then it shows half of the background then it all goes black, then my cursor goes invisible, then it appears again, then a couple of seconds later it shrinks, goes to my desktop and shows "hl2.exe Has Stopped Working..." it gives no information at all about the crash. i'm freak'in annoyed with this mod and crash and would really be happy if someone could help me fix this dumb crash. Sorry for long comment, sorry for my attitude I have been having this error for a long time now and no matter what i do or what version it is, it still doesn't fix anything except for yours fixed a little bit. Other smod games work like UnderHell. Please Help!

God... Doesn't work. Gman is still looking at me like a creep and spinning his head around. And nobody speaks, or moves.

this mod is weird, the people don't interact with me so I can't play the story. it's a bit strange, nobody talks with you and I don't understand when I'll get weapons, I can't play the story, how should i get weapons? sometimes it's laggy and idk why. But I have to say a big thank you because I couldn't use the original file ❤
